Crytek’s Free-To-Play Shooter, Warface, Gets NVIDIA’s GameWorks Treatment
NVIDIA’s Andrew Burnes has informed us about a video that showcases the newly implemented NVIDIA GameWorks effects in Crytek’s free-to-play shooter, Warface. Via its latest update, Warface supports dynamic smoke effects, realistic turbulence, and persistent real-time PhysX particles from explosions that interact with the virtual environment as well as characters. As NVIDIA noted, owners of GTX760 graphics cards and above will be able to enable all of the game’s bells and whistles (including PhysX High). Enjoy! Rockstar has released a remastered version of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas on X360, and YouTube’s ‘GTA Series Videos’ has shared a comparison between the PS2, the PC and the Remastered X360 versions. As we can see, the remastered version looks better than the PC version, though the changes can be considered subtle.
