World of Warcraft Battle for Azeroth patch 8.1 will significantly improve CPU multi-thread under DX12
As we’ve reported back in, Blizzard has added DX12 support to World of Warcraft Battle for Azeroth via patch 8.0. However, it appears that the initial DX12 results were not that ideal as DX11 was still outperforming it. Instead of sitting idle, though, Blizzard decided to improve CPU multi-thread under Microsoft’s latest API and its upcoming patch 8.1 will bring significant performance improvements. First Intel Core i9 9900K gaming benchmarks published by Intel, appear to be misleading
Intel has published the first gaming benchmarks for its new Intel Core i9 9900K processor, however it appears that these benchies are a bit misleading. These benchmarks were contacted by Principled Technologies and the games that were tested were: Total War: Warhammer 2, Far Cry 5, Assassin’s Creed: Origins, Civilization VI, Rainbow Six Siege, PUBG, Rise of the Tomb Raider, WoW: Battle for Azeroth, Fortnite, Forza Motorsport 7, Ashes of the Singularity and Counter Strike GO.
