Great news for Jagged Alliance fans, as Jagged Alliance: Back in Action is now available on Steam and is priced at 27.99 euros. In addition, there are three DLC kits available, each one priced at 1.49 euros. Hooray. Diablo 3 WILL have public chat channels; coming soon to the beta via a patch

All hell has broken loose when Blizzard’s community manager, Bashiok, tweeted that Diablo 3 would not support chat channels. We can’t see anything wrong with that – as PC gamers can use Teamspeak and other similar programs – but it seems that a lot of you got annoyed by that. And naturally, a lot of Diablo fans started complaining and thought that Blizzard have turned their back on them. Well, good news everyone as Bashiok was wrong and public chat channels WILL be available in Diablo 3. In fact, they’ll be in an upcoming beta patch so PC gamers will get to see and play around with them really soon. Continue reading Hooray. Pete Hines hints at Skyrim’s DLC, high resolution texture pack not coming to consoles

Skyrim was one of the most anticipated games of 2011 and as you’d expect, a DLC for it will be released this year. Although we don’t have any release date or juicy details about it, VP of PR and marketing for Bethesda, Pete Hines, hinted in his Twitter that a DLC is a ‘safe bet‘ and we should stay tuned for more. Bethesda will obviously focus on it now that both the Creation Kit and Patch 1.4 are out of the way, so expect some news about it in the coming weeks or months. Wargame: European Escalation is now available for pre-order on Steam

Great news for all strategy fans as Eugen Systems’ upcoming action strategy, Wargame: European Escalation, is now available for pre-order on Steam and comes with access to the multiplayer-beta test that will be available in a couple of days. Wargame: European Escalation looks similar to Massive Entertainment’s World in Conflict and is slated for a February 23rd release, exclusively on the PC. Classic point n click adventure game, The Dark Eye: Chains of Satinav, gets a teaser trailer

Daedalic Entertainment and Deep Silver present a video-teaser for the PC-game The Dark Eye: Chains of Satinav, in which sequences of the game are shown. The gripping The Dark Eye-Adventure takes place in the familiar fantasy world Aventuria. In the tranquil Andergast the protagonist Geron gets on to the track of a mysterious crow plague and, with the help of his mystical companion Nuri, starts a mission to find the source of the evil. Sleeping Dogs officially announced; open-world cop game by United Front Games

Square Enix London Studios, a part of Square Enix Europe, has announced Sleeping Dogs, a gritty and visceral openworld cop drama set in the vibrant city of Hong Kong. Developed by United Front Games in collaboration with the renowned Square Enix London Studios, Sleeping Dogs will be available in the second half of 2012 for PS3, X360 and PC. LOTR’s Middle Earth comes to Oblivion with MERP; Project will be ported to Skyrim

LOTR and Oblivion fans, here is something special for you today. The Merp Team has released a new beta version for their upcoming total conversion, Middle-Earth Roleplaying Project. As the title suggests, this mod is a fully open-ended environment where players can play all known races – Elves, Men, Hobbits and Dwarves – and take part in the War of the Ring. Ridge Racer: Unbounded is developed by Bugbear Entertainment, the team behind our beloved FlatOut, and is the first Ridge Racer title to hit the PC. Sanctum 2 is coming to XBLA, PSN and PC in 2013

Fresh off the runaway success of Dungeon Defenders (which recently surpassed 1 million units sold across all platforms), digital experts Reverb Publishing has announced a partnership with the veteran development team at Coffee Stain Studios to publish the PC, Xbox LIVE and PlayStation Network version of Sanctum 2, the sequel to its incredibly popular PC title, Sanctum.
