Elite: Dangerous – Launch Trailer Out Now, Gamma 2.0 Update Available, No Wipes For Launch

Frontier Developments today released the launch trailer for Elite: Dangerous. This 90 second trailer is soundtracked by Royal Blood’s ‘Out Of The Black,’ and can be viewed below. In addition, Frontier announced that Gamma 2.00 is available now, and that there will be no wipe of positions or progress on the December 16th launch of Elite: Dangerous 1.0. Ubisoft has announced a crossover between Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Phantoms and Assassin’s Creed Rogue with the launch of an exclusive Assassin’s Creed Rogue Pack. Rumor: GTA V Already Runs At 60FPS On The PC, “Max Payne 3” Team Handling The PC Version

Let’s all admit one thing: GTA IV was an unoptimized mess, a performance hog title, and a game that was easily described as one of the most unoptimized games of 2008. Sure thing, Rockstar’s open world game runs better today – thanks mainly to new CPU processors – but its multi-core CPU support is still quite… laughable. Which really made everyone wonder whether the upcoming PC version of GTA V would suffer from such ‘porting’ issues. Alien: Isolation – New Patch Adds Two More Difficulty Modes

SEGA and The Creative Assembly have released a new update for Alien: Isolation that adds two more difficulty modes: Nightmare and Novice. As you may have expected, this new Nightmare mode is for all die-hard hardcore gamers that found the game too easy, while the Novice mode is for those who would like to explore Sevastopol instead of consistently hiding to avoid the androids or the alien itself. Far Cry 4 – Patch 1.5 Released – Addresses Stuttering Issues, Adds 21:9 Aspect Ratio Support

Ubisoft has released the latest PC update for Far Cry 4 that supposedly addresses the game’s stuttering issues, as well as a number of graphical issues.
