First 3DMark score for Intel’s new Coffee-Lake i7 8700K, faster than i7 7700K & AMD Ryzen 7 1700X

Intel will officially unveil its 8th generation “Coffee Lake” CPUs on August 21st and it appears that the first 3DMark score has surfaced. According to the physics test – which is a CPU-only test – Intel’s i7 8700K is faster than its predecessor, the Intel Core i7 7700K, as well as both of AMD’s Ryzen 7 and Ryzen 5 CPUs. Ni no Kuni is now fully playable and runs great via Vulkan on RPCS3

The team behind the best emulator for Playstation 3, RPCS3, has released a new version and we are happy to report that the first Ni no Kuni game is now almost fully playable on it. What’s also interesting is that some flickering issues that were present with the Vulkan API have been addressed, and there have been some noticeable performance improvements. Destiny 2 will feature an in-game FPS counter and a framerate target option

Last week, Bungie announced that the overlay functionalities of third-party tools such as EVGA Precision, MSi Afterburner and FRAPS will not be compatible with Destiny 2. Naturally, this upset a lot of PC gamers, however today the team revealed that both the upcoming PC beta and the final version of Destiny 2 will feature an in-game FPS counter. Crashday: Redline Edition is now available on Steam

Publisher 2tainment and developer Moonbyte Games today announced that Crashday: Redline Edition, a newly overhauled edition of the classic arcade racer Crashday (Atari, 2006), is now available on Steam. Crashday: Redline Edition pays homage to the original Crashday while also adding refreshed visuals and compelling new features, including improved online multiplayer capabilities, seven action-packed game modes, new modding functions and an integrated track editor.
