Ragnarok Online Major Update Released

Gravity Interactive announced the release of a major update for Ragnarok Online: 13.3 El Dicastes on July 13.  The 13.3 update is available to all players as a free update to the game content. In case you were unaware, we should note that both registration and access to Ragnarok online is free as the game has adopted the free-to-play format, while also offering a premium VIP subscription package. Critical Mass – PC Demo Released

Manic Game Studios has just released a PC demo for their action 3D puzzle game, Critical Mass. Critical Mass combines fast addictive gameplay with strategy to create a new and innovative play experience and features 3 levels of difficulty and 4 distinct game modes. X Rebirth to feature multicore engine and cockpit view

Egosoft confirmed a while ago that their engine that will power X Rebirth will take advantage of multicore CPUs. According to the company, this is a new engine from scratch and one of the design goals was to make use of multiple threads / cores. HALF-LIFE – Singularity Collapse is one hell of a fan-made film

In the past we’ve seen some amazing fan-made films that were based on videogames – and particularly on Half-Life 2. Singularity Collapse is one of them and perhaps the best we’ve ever seen so far. Contrary to all other fan-made movies, this one is shot completely in the first-person perspective and features some amazing effects. Don’t expect to see Gordon Freeman though, as the movie is based on City 17’s rebel forces. Oh and that buggy scene looks great. Be sure to check it out after the jump.
