Confirmed: Rise of Immortals will feature native 3D support

Petroglyph announced today that it is bringing NVIDIA 3D Vision support to its eagerly anticipated Multiplayer Online Battle Arena (MOBA) game,  Rise of Immortals at launch. PC gamers with a NVIDIA GeForce 8-series or higher graphics processing unit (GPU) and compatible 3D Vision ready display will be ready to play Rise of Immortals in 3D when the game is released this summer. Vessel – New Screenshots + Trailer

As spotted by LegitGamer, Vessel is a physics-based platformer that is developed by Strange Loop Games that is slated for release later this year. The company released five new screenshots for their game alongside its press release that can be viewed after the jump. Vessel looks great and a demo will be released after this year’s PAX. Lost Squad – Third Teaser Trailer

Lost Squad is a  Half-Life 2 modification that looks quite interesting. The mod is developed by DmitRex Corporation and its third teaser trailer has just been released. This new teaser showcases some of the game’s destruction and you must check it out. Lost Squad is currently slated for a 2012 release and promises to feature Dynamic Destruction Environment (the modder claims that everything will be desctructible), Co-op mode and some new places, never before seen. Relive Far Cry with Crysis’ graphics; Far Cry 2010 Chapter 1 Mod Released

Far Cry 2010 is a mod by Didjay that started in April 2010 and attempts to remaster Crytek’s first open-world game. This mod is not a “simple one” that simply changes a few textures and various other small changes here and there but a complete redesign of every level. Well, we’ve seen fan-made movies for a lot of games but come on, admit it. You’ve always wanted to see a real-life Altair, no? Well here is a fan made movie that is based on Ubisoft’s action adventure game, Assassin’s Creed. We’ve seen better movies that are based on games but still, it’s cool. BlastZone 2 Released; indie PC shoot em up by Matt Edzenga

We said it before and will say it again. Here in DSOGaming we highly support all those indie developers out there. BlastZone 2 is an indie PC shoot em up that was developed by Matt Edzenga and looks great. Matt released a demo for it and the game is available for $10 USD. Activision’s Digital Sales Sky-Rocketed and are 42% higher than those of 2009

During their conference call, Activision stated that their digital sales surpassed their expectations and are growing higher each and every year. According to a sales graph, digital sales of 2011’s first half are 42% higher than those of 2009 and around 24% of last year’s. Diablo III Beta Still Planned For Q3 2011

Well, we had high hopes for Activision’s conference call. There were hints that a release date would be announced but no, Blizzard didn’t announce anything that we didn’t already know. Instead the company re-affirmed that the beta is still on schedule for Q3 2011. The company didn’t provide any release date for both the beta and the final version, although they are hard at work and hope to release it this year.
