WoW fans, start checking your inboxes. Blizzard has announced that the beta of WoW: Mist of Pandaria is now live. Over the course of the test, Blizzard will be inviting Annual Pass holders, press, fansites, friends and family, and opt-in beta testers to participate. This first phase of the beta focuses on the 1-10 starting experience for new Pandaren. High-level content as well as template characters will become available in future beta updates, but you can still copy over your own high level characters now if you’d like to test the new talent system. Hayssam Keilany has revealed some new details about his upcoming 2.1 version of GTA IV iCEnhancer. According to the modder, iCEnhancer 2.1 will feature reworked colors and shadows. Moreover, the sun, sky, sunlight, and shadows colors are changed while the shadow intensity has been further tweaked. We should also note that Keilany based the 2.1 version colors on pics he did himself, meaning that this new version will be even better when it comes to its color settings. At least that’s the plan. City Interactive has released a brand new trailer for their upcoming sniper game, Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2. Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 is powered by CryEngine 3 and this video is basically a tech demo that shows off some of its features. The game looks great – at least graphically – and we can’t wait to see what City Interactive has in store for us. Valve released a new beta update for their upcoming action RTS, DOTA 2. This new update comes with the addition of Lycan and enables Shadow Demon in Captain’s Mode. In addition, the new beta patch adds all Random game mode for private lobbies, adds setting for ambient creatures in the Advanced Video Settings, sports various bot improvements and a number of fixes. Ubisoft has just released a new gameplay trailer for Far Cry 3. With Far Cry 3, players step into the shoes of Jason Brody, a man alone at the edge of the world, stranded on a mysterious tropical island. In this savage paradise, where lawlessness and violence are the only sure thing, players dictate how the story unfolds, from the battles they choose to fight to the allies or enemies they make along the way. As Jason Brody, players will slash, sneak and shoot their way across the island in a world that has lost all sense of morality. Remedy has released a hotfix patch for the PC version of Alan Wake. This hotfix fixes some crashes that occurred with Alt-Tab in SLI configurations, the saving of assigned keys so that both Numlock on/off states work and can be defined separately, as well as command line handling so that invalid input does not cause the game to enter unresponsive state.
