Ubisoft has released a new trailer for Assassin’s Creed 3. This trailer is dedicated to the Independence Day of fourth of July and contains almost everything you would not expect to see from an Assassin’s Creed title. But then again, the trailer was made for a specific historic event so we can give it a break. Nuketown, the most popular multiplayer map in Call of Duty: Black Ops, is being reimagined for the hotly anticipated release of Treyarch’s Call of Duty: Black Ops II, published by Activision. The Nuketown 2025 multiplayer map will be available with launch units of Call of Duty: Black Ops II. Anyone who pre-orders the game at participating retailers worldwide will get their copy of Call of Duty: Black Ops II at launch, which will include the Nuketown 2025 downloadable bonus map. Creative Assembly has confirmed today that it is developing the next part in the Total War: Rome series, Total War: Rome II. According to its press release, the game will be published by SEGA and will take players into the dangerous political machinations of Rome’s senate, while asking them to struggle with family dilemmas and question the loyalty of ‘friends’ and allies. The latest UK Retail PC and Steam Digital charts have been unveiled and as we can see, Diablo III and ArmA II: Combined Operations are still the best selling games for our beloved platform. This week, both Ghost Recon: Future Soldier and Spec Ops: The Line have been released for the PC and it seems that Ubisoft’s title enjoyed a nice debut place. YouTube’s member ‘clayman90’ created an interesting machinima video for Crytek’s FPS, Crysis 2. This video can be easily described as a fan-made, community trailer and is packed with some of the cut-scenes that were featured in the actual game. It’s well made, so make sure to watch it. And if only those those destructrion sequences were actually in real-time (instead of pre-scripted). Oh well, let’s hope that Crysis 3 will be better in that area! Remedy has revealed that Death Rally, their amazing arcade racing title, will return on the PC this August. The PC version of Death Rally will include an optimized interface, improved visuals, customizable controls as well online multi-player and leaderboards. Coma: A Mind Adventure is an interesting puzzle-adventure game that is a mix of games like Dear Esther, Portal 2, Shadow of the Colossus or Journey. There is no denying that Project CARS looks amazing. However, the latest build introduced a new ‘Pagani’ car and has managed to reach photorealistic visuals. What you are about to see is pure, in-game screenshots that have not been edited or photoshopped. This is how the game looks with max settings. Yeah, it’s hard to believe that the game can actually look this good but it is true. Project CARS can be considered as a next-generation title and it sure as hell deserves every right to be called like that.
