Dark Souls II Announced, PC version confirmed, first official details unveiled

And the moment most hardcore action RPG fans have been waiting for has finally arrived. Namco has unveiled a cinematic trailer for Dark Souls 2 on today’s VGA Awards. You can view the official press release below which confirms the PC version of it. Guess Namco Bandai was benefit from porting the game to the PC platform. Here is hoping that PC gamers will get a better port this time around, though it would be sweet if FromSoftware was to develop all versions simultaneously. New IP “The Phantom Pain” Announced At VGA Awards 2012

A new IP has been announced on today’s VGA awards. At first glance, this looks like a MGS title as the main character looks exactly like Big Boss. I mean, come on. Look at him; same hair type, same beard, and let’s not forget that Big Boss was a clone so he should be facing amnesia issues. But this title is developed by Moby Dick Studio, therefore this can’t be a MGS title. Unless of course Konami is co-operating with Moby Dick for a new MGS title. NeoGAF users on the other hand have made a lot of investigation, so be sure to check what they have to say. All points hint that The Phantom Pain and MGS: Ground Zeroes are the same thing. Flipping tanks in Battlefield 3 can be surprisingly fun

Back in November, the guys over 1080PixelGaming have released a mind-blowing Battlefield 3 video where they flipped a tank onto the roof of a building. It looked great, and the team is back with a punch, with a new video that puts that previous tank flipping clip to shame. In this new video, the team has managed to flip a tank over a canal and land it onto another roof. It looks fun, it looks great, and we highly recommend watching it. Incoming Black Ops 2 DoubleXP weekend and patch that will address gameplay balancing issues

Good news for Black Ops 2 fans, as Treyarch is working on a PC patch and will offer a DoubleXP weekend, though there is no ETA for them yet. Treyarch’s pcdev has spilled the beans earlier this week about the upcoming patch of Black Ops 2, when he tweeted that Treyarch was working on patch and on various AMD and Nvidia hw specific issues. Bioshock Infinite – PC Graphical Settings Revealed – DX10 & DX11 Support Confirmed – FOV Slider Spotted

Our friends over at PCGamer have unveiled the graphical settings for the PC version of Bioshock: Infinite. According to PCGamer, Bioshock: Infinite was showcased this week on an octo-core CPU (AMD FX-8120) with a single Radeon 7900 series GPU (though we don’t know the exact model that was used) and 16GB of RAM. Bioshock Infinite PC supports DX10, as well as DX11. Still, we don’t know whether Irrational Games will go ahead and include any tessellation effects or not. Bohemia Interactive has released a new update for Carrier Command: Gaea Mission that aims to address a number of issues, including those related to the pathfinding of ground units. Might & Magic Heroes VI: Shades of Darkness Release Date Announced

Today, Ubisoft announced the long-awaited Might & Magic Heroes VI standalone expansion, Shades of Darkness, set to be released on Windows PC on the 28th February 2013. According to its press release, this fully fledged standalone game will feature a new faction, Dungeon, led by the Dark Elves, and two new campaigns unveiling another piece of history in the Might & Magic Universe. Bioshock: Infinite Delayed To March 26th – New Screenshots Unveiled

And here we go again. Another triple-A title, another delay. Well, at least the game has been delayed for all platforms and not only for the PC. During a press preview event that was held this week, Ken Levine revealed that Bioshock: Infinite has been delayed one month and is now planned for a March 26th launch. Mars: War Logs Gets Its First Trailer

Focus Home Interactive has revealed the first trailer of Mars: War Logs, an action RPG that is being developed by Spiders Games for XBLA, PSN and PC. Mars: War Logs promises to offer a wide variety of quests, tactical dynamic combat, and extensive character specialization through different skill trees and a complete craft system.
