Ubisoft’s UPLAY 4.0 Has Been Deployed, Supports TwitchTV Streaming

Ubisoft has deployed a new version for its digital distribution service, UPLAY. UPLAY 4.0 comes with integrated TwitchTV support and a new download manager that allows for better and faster downloads for upcoming games. UPLAY will be auto-updated next time you start it, and you can view its changelog below.

IDV revealed today that CD Projekt RED’s upcoming The Witcher title will be powered by its SpeedTree technology. As the press release reads, this will be the third title in the series to integrate SpeedTree middleware into the story-driven experience and natural environments that have become a trademark of the franchise.

AMD Explains Why Mantle Is Exclusive To PC & Not Present On Xbox One

A couple of hours ago, Microsoft revealed that Xbox One only supports DX 11.x as its API. Contrary to rumors, Xbox One does not support Mantle (or any other API like OpenGL). A lot of gamers got confused by all of this, which is why AMD decided to step in and explain things.
