THQ Nordic has announced that a remastered version of Red Faction Guerrilla will be released in Q2 2018. Red Faction Guerrilla Re-Mars-tered will feature fully reworked graphics, heavily reworked textures and graphic features adding for example specular maps.

Modder ‘jd941’ has released a brand new 4K texture pack for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim that greatly overhauls its rocks. JD has used photogrammetric images of rocks and replaced the original and blurry textures with them.

PC games with minor ray tracing capabilities will come out in 2018

Toni Tamasi, senior vice president of content and technology at Nvidia, told Fudzilla that the first PC games with support for ray tracing will come out later this year. As Tamasi claimed, these first games will not be completely ray traced but instead a combination of traditional shader/rasterization with ray tracing.
