PLAYERUNKNOWN’S BATTLEGROUNDS has sold 3 million copies worldwide

Bluehole’s last-man-standing/battle royale shooter PLAYERUNKNOWN’S BATTLEGROUNDS seems to be selling like crazy. According to Steamspy’s datas, PLAYERUNKNOWN’S BATTLEGROUNDS has just surpassed three million sold units.

While PLAYERUNKNOWN’S BATTLEGROUNDS is still in Early Access phase, it appears that this title is something that really intrigued PC gamers.

PLAYERUNKNOWN’S BATTLEGROUNDS is described as a last-man-standing shooter being developed with community feedback. Starting with nothing, players must fight to locate weapons and supplies in a battle to be the lone survivor.

The final version of the game will be released in around six months, and will incorporate modding tools that will allow players to customize and play the game the way they want. Furthermore, it will feature more content and new features that will be based on feedback from the community during Early Access.

    1. This is what sells in PC gaming landscape while games like nier or any other single player games don’t sell as much as when compared to this.
This does shows however that a game can sell millions in units on PC alone too. I mean by comparison horizon zero Dawn sold 3 million too on ps4 and it came one month before this. So this does debunk the theory that games can’t sell as much as some console games on PC.
It’s just that PC gamers seems to have different tastes when it comes to buying games.

      1. Nier was broken of course it wouldnt sell as much. A game that is not brokrn can not sell well no matter the platform that it is. Mass effect andromeda another action rpg sold so but on all platforms due to the bugs that forced EA to stop the series. Why? Because it sold bad on consoles too not just pc. However it is a game i enjoyed and didnt have any issues with it. Played maxed 1440p day one on my ryzen 1700 16 gb ddr4 3200 mhz gtx 970 g1 gaming.. And single player games nowdays never sell as much as multiplayer no matter if we are talking about pc or console version sales because most people nowdaya unfortunately dont care about single player games.

      2. “Yeah tag it as early access and release it halfbaked and it’s gonna sell millions. Then milk with DLCs and microtransactions for max profit.”

    2. i know right???? and all the money they’ve spent paying people to play it!!!!

Just cuz you don’t like something doesn’t mean no one else does. I think your opinion is terrible and literally a meme, i mean you upvote everyone one of your comments.

  1. survival + crafting + shooting + multiplayer = top seller even if EA and even if it doesnt have good reviews

i hate consoles but sometimes i also hate pc gamers taste for games :/

  2. I prefer The Culling. Why? Because even though it feels really unpolished, it’s more original. Battlegrounds is too much reminiscent of those typical run-of-the-mill DayZ clones. The fact that you always find firearms makes it less exciting.
