this from just another hack n slash game?
Well it is a “crossover” between actionRPG’s, third person, 2D platforming and at some points isometric perspective as well. You play like 3 games into one all the time. It even has a semi open world approach to its world with the more on rails areas.
The best aspect of it is that it was made by Platinum Games, that for me is enough to think that the feeling will be sublime and the fun aspect of it is guaranteed.
I remember to play Bayonetta on the PS3 because I got it with a bundle, and I never looked into it…played it and damn, what a fun experience and some cool crazy moments that I never saw in other games before.
platinum games had made IMO two stinkers that ruined their perfect reputation, i also used to get excited about their projects, but not anymore
The only bad game I can think of is TMNT Mutants in Manhattan. Korra wasn’t up to the usual Platinum standard, because they had a small budget on that game to begin with… but it was 15 dollars/euros at launch… and it was still a fun game for what it was. You really can’t complain too much about it.
Transformers Devastation was my favorite game from 2015. Some might say it’s underwhelming and the game is short… yet I have 40 hours logged on it on Steam and still counting. The combat in that game is sublime and the boss fights and enemy roster, not to mention the kickass soundtrack…it’s just gaming bliss. And I’ve finished Devastation on Prime (the highest difficulty it had to offer). I’m not completionist type, BTW. That’s how good Devastation is…

That too. I’ve yet to play it. I cannot find a used copy in my country for the life of me. But I’ve watched gameplay of it on Youtube. It looks hype. 😀

I’d want to get that bundle, if I could, but I have some small tensee little problem… My PS3 fried… Even if it didn’t fry, I still couldn’t get those games digitally, because of these reasons:
1. No PSN account because I can’t connect the Internet cable from my room to the living room.
2. I won’t pay for 60 euros even if it’s yearly to use PSN (here in Romania we pay 10 euros per month, give or take for Internet usage and we have fast Internet too)
3. I still live with my parents… in a flat… it’s still a nice looking flat… I’ll move out in about a year… I already got myself a job… sort of… will get started soon. I still have my lawschool college degree (I’ll get next year in Spring) and have to take an exam for an entry at a job in probation service, but my chances are very slim (I’m only 23 BTW)… not to mention some who get the job don’t actually enter via knowledge, if you get what I mean. Have this job that I got as a safety net.
4. My dad, hogs the TV every time he is home. That’s what he does, watches TV, eats an occasionally goes to the bathroom. He is a literal deadbeat, lost his job for 3 years, my mom divorced from him, yet he still leaves in our house because matrimonial partage… everything in that flat goes in half. We wanted to pay him half the price in money, but he refused and he already had the house that he lived near his parents… Me and my mom don’t have were to go… And my dad refused… He barely contributes with money for taxes too.
Yeah, I really went overboard with this comment and on Christmas Eve too… I might try those games via emulation on PCSX2, since on PS2 they look very blurry…
It’s coming out in March for PS4, but they aren’t being clear on the PC release date (my guess is we’ll probably have to wait). Either way, it’s gonna be a while so you’re probably safe indulging a bit.
Im actually dusting off my ps4 to try the demo that released today to see if its as good as others are saying so ill keep you posted lol

Well I’m sorry to hear that old friend. When I was in that state, I found out that the psilocybin from magic mushrooms every 3 months, gave me everything I needed, no joke.

People always took me as a pothead (I have a real pothead face, I guess it is the eyes) so other than booze (which I’m quitting) I always avoided justifying the stigma. xP
Drink was part of the problem for me, it’s a depressant, makes me feel down. You don’t need to trip to take them, you can micro dose with very small amounts. Nature’s healer for the mind, body and spirit imho. ?
Yep, my problem with drinking was that if I didn’t drink I was “socially dead”.
I didn’t want to go out, didn’t want to talk to anybody, never enjoyed parties and even dates, so I drank a bit, felt a bit “light”, a bit “smooth” and friendly… but then it starts to go to the other extreme and then the blackouts started to happen and… yeah.
Perhaps I should look into the natural stuff cause I know that meds have other undesired effects on me.
It all sounds very familiar, so don’t ever feel you’re the only one to walk this path, as many do every day. Your written English is very good, ever thought about working abroad etc…?

About the work stuff, I do actually, but my English is mostly self-taught so I end up snowballing myself into “bad cycles” (find small job to pay for a pro education/certificate, accumulate debt, getting frustrated with job, quit, find another job to pay debts, getting out of focus with other things in life, hate, self loathing, shift focus to other things, start all over again and so on.. life is fun! :D)

I’m not sure about you guys but lately I’m buying keys, and these “sales” are not as relevant as they used to be. Of course sometimes you can’t get keys for certain games so you have to wait and buy those games on Steam/Origin/Uplay.
I still buy the most of my games directly from Steam tho, those games that I can’t wait for example.

Yup. People are probably buying all the good games in Steam’s library faster than they are releasing new ones, leaving fewer games to care about.
There are still a few games that I’m interested in, but the Steam sale discounts don’t seem as steep as they used to.
Except most older games on sale have had higher discounts in the past. Publishers have clearly noticed that extreme sales aren’t worth it compared to, say, 75% off.
you’re wrong, discounts are lower, the only games having heavy discounts are games that have them all the time, and those are small indies which fight for survival by offering super low prices against huge market

Exactly most games i also buy through one of the shops on allkeyshop. But I’m not quite sure that the dev’s get any money when we buy keys through there… but I’m poor!
