In order to celebrate its 30th anniversary, Ubisoft is offering PC gamers seven digital games (from June to December) free of charge. Last month, the French company offered Beyond Good & Evil and today the big publisher made Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon available to everyone.
Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon is an 80’s VHS vision of the future in which players will have to get the girl, kill the baddies, and save the world.
Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon was included in our Top 10 most optimized PC games of 2013. Powered by Dunia, Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon takes advantage of multi-cores, runs amazingly well on the PC platform, and looks great.
Those interested can go ahead and download Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon from here.
Have fun!

Blood Dragon Johnny boy, Blood Dragon.
Blood Dragon was a veryfun DLC. I recommend it to anyone who feelslike revisiting FC3.
Not a DLC, its a standalone title
True my bad.
all good dude, just saying in case a person who doesnt own FC3 comes in and sees that its dlc then they miss out for no reason. This game deserves to be played, its too hilarious
make a sequel ubisoft
Don’t worry, as soon as Vivendi closes the deal there’s going to be loads of sequels.
They own 25% at this point. So do you know what they will do?
At this point, if Vivendi manage to get at least 30% (I think) Ubi has to start negotiations unless they manage to find another investor.
I don’t think they will manage, “bow to the Vivendi overlords”, it’s just a question of time.
Three cheers for yet-another multi-national corporate conglomerate, anyone?
Oh, wait, they already are one >.<
never got round to playing blood dragon, guess my wait has been rewarded I guess the patient dog truly does eat the largest bone :~)
I don’t touch anything on uplay, including free games
your loss.
nah, had this sitting in my steam library since it came out, never touched it, never going to, even if didn’t have this, it’s like 5 bucks on steam, so yeah, no one’s missing anything lmao
I meant that it was a great game. Huge miss if you don’t play it.
yea it really is, ive had it forever but decided to replay it since im replaying a lot of older titles due to newer ones being not so great. just finished the Half life series earlier and immediately reinstalled blood dragon and if oyu dont play it youre missing out big time. yes i HATE ubisoft but blood dragon was a great game and deserves a playthrough as well as a bit of credit for how good it is
It’s a huge miss if you’re actually interested. It’s like saying “your loss” to everything I never liked in this world, and yet it would hold absolutely no weight on me. Same goes for you as well.
Nothing of value has been lost, i hate to say it but it is better than all the recent (7 8years) ubisoft games but again you lose nothing by not playing a game made by that s**t company.
you can get drm free version elsewhere
Worth it. I’m so glad they did this.
I already got Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon in a bundle with Call of Juarez Gunslinger for 7.50 euros 6 months ago. Best bundle ever. 😀
By far, the middle finger hotkey to the self aware cheesiness is just so refreshing in a world that everything is so serious lately. and the overly macho/inappropriate nature of the script is amazing. too bad games like that wont be made anymore bc of the era were in filled with SJW nonsense
meh 4 has better open world gameplay. Less linear and scripted. More options.
It requires Uplay though, so I won’t really be taking up on the very late offer.
I like how they decided of all times to do this now, when Steam was doing it for years, then Origin and only they do it now because they aren’t popular or liked as much on PC and their client is the most disliked and less used. That and Vivendi is breathing down their neck, so they forcefully have to pull out some tricks, or face being crippled, which is sad because this feels like they legitimately don’t care for PC, only when actions speak to them do they act, rather than ask and think.
