Deep Silver has released a new trailer for Mighty No. 9. Mighty No. 9 is a side-scrolling action game that takes the best elements from 8- and 16-bit classics you know and love and transforms them with modern tech, fresh mechanics. The game is being created by Keiji Inafune – the father of Mega Man – and is currently planned for a June 21st release. Enjoy!
Thomas is a close friend to John ‘john2’ and John ‘WhatGoesAroundComesAround’. Thomas, John and John basically came with the idea of DSOGaming. Thomas has been helping John with News articles these past years, and prefers to stay in the background than the foreground.
4 million dollars people!
wow its so bad I won’t even “torrent it”!
Goodness me, this is a new level of bad.
Who wrote the script for this trailer?
WHO IN THEIR RIGHT MIND THOUGHT THAT THIS WAS A GOOD TRAILER?
The publisher Deep Silver, that’s who. Never underestimate the power of clueless corporate executives.
Oh I don’t, but things are getting worse.
It’s like that dumb 80&90’s marketing all over again, but now it’s creepy old mans trying to sound hip and cool, while before it was just over the top and dumb.
i already expected a bad game, but this is unbelievable amateurish.
Please tell me this was a kickstarter…
It was, poor bastards. 🙁
Epic?
Actually the father of Mega Man is Akira Kitamura; Inafune was only brought on later in development of the first game as an artist. He was then much later put in charge of the series due to seniority.
Also: 4. Million. Dollars. Plus the money from outside investors. Over the course of 3 years. And this is what comes of it. Even the Sonic twitter account is calling them out (specifically the strange explosions and poorly thought out narration).
BWAAHAHAHAHA
Interesting about Kitamura. And yeah…the game looks so very bad.
This narrator sounds like a pedophile trying to convince kids to get in his car by bribing them with “all this stuff”.
Kids like that combo on combo action.
Puppies work better than candy, believe it or not. They just hop in! No questions asked!
Guy is a tool xD
Fortunately people who play these kinds of games are unlikely to be interested in anime, and are highly unlikely to have a tense relationship with this game and its developer because of how its development was handled and communicated.
Oh wait…
I don’t know, but I think we will see Half-Life 3 before this game gets released…
Mega Man spiritual successor…
