YouTube’s ‘sumit patil’ has shared a new video, showing 15 minutes of brand new gameplay footage from Rise of the Tomb Raider. In Rise of the Tomb Raider, Lara must explore the most treacherous and remote regions of Siberia to find the secret of immortality before a ruthless organization known as Trinity. Rise of the Tomb Raider will be available for Windows 10 and Steam in early 2016. Enjoy!

The Lara Croft games while slightly more true to the franchise don’t quite do it either. Core Design’s games were pretty slow-paced, atmospheric, complex and unforgiving, none of that really applies to the new games.
With the Legends series it’s like they were imitating Sands of Time, they took the easier auto-correcting platforming and a lot of moves from that game, but the issue is that Sands of Time was designed with long strings of crazy acrobatics in mind so it needed those controls and they don’t fit very well with TR’s more realistic slower paced platforming.
Then with the 2013 reboot they’re imitating Uncharted, which is all about ridiculously polished scripted action setpieces that regurgitate all the popular trends in modern games.
Tomb Raider hasn’t been it’s own thing since Crystal Dynamics took over and I can’t think of any modern game quite like Core’s TR games.
amazing i can’t wait to play it i’ve been a Tomb Raider fan for a long time just hope consoles will not bring us down like the new NFS 2015 were things got ugly because of poor and crap consoles that are available on the market right now

I am not buying this game. The willingness of SquareEnix and Crystal Dynamics to sign Phil Spencer’s “timed exclusivity” deal is premised on the guaranteed profit from that deal making up for the lack of initial sales on both PC and the PS4. Once the initial marketing and hype wears off, PS4 and PC sales won’t be as good as they initially would have been if there had been a multiplatform release. There should really be a concerted effort to cost Square and CD as much money as possible on the PC and PS4 platforms so that developers and publishers learn to stop viciously fellating Phil Spencer’s junk with these anit-consumer exclusivity agreements.
I am more pissed about win10 than timed exclusivity, the game is on x360 for crying out loud.
MS tried the same thing with Halo 2 and its “Vista” requirement nonsense. A hack was release that allowed it to run on XP. If the game is not using DX12, a hack will be released so that it works on Win7/8. No worries.

looks nice, not a TR fan but i bought the 2013 version and enjoyed it a little. i wonder how they want to sell this game to me ? few months delay for PC version, and maybe win 10 exclusive which both of them are a big no buy for me and by that time game is already spoiled.
