  1. Really? Then unfortunatelly I won’t be buying this game. Not that I dislike GOG, much on the contrary. But I don’t have an international credit card and unlike Steam/Origin/Uplay, GOG doesn’t support my currency yet.

      1. The currency enchange rates are too high. I’d have to pay 3-4 times more than I would on Steam.

          1. oh, well, another websites are saiying Grandia II HD will be coming to Steam and GoG this year so maybe you are right

          2. it won’t make sense to make this GoG exclusive. everybody knows Steam has higher sales even though old games have better chances on GoG but still.

  2. One of my old time favorite RPGs! That is great news! Although I’ve finished it a couple of years ago if I remember correctly on my Demul but I won’t miss the change of this HD release. Good news that PC gamers receive exclusive treats from the True Gaming Era.

  3. The latest press release stated GOG as an exclusive digital seller. Whether this will change in the future remains to be seen.

  4. Seems a bit cheeky calling it an HD edition when there doesn’t seem to be any kind of graphical upgrade and no widescreen support. The old game supports whatever 4:3 resolution you throw at it anyway.
Hell, I’m not complaining about a digital re-release of one of my favourite JRPGs ever, but just call it Grandia II dammit.

  5. For all this business of a DreamCast based port to PC becoming a thing, I eagerly await the day that a certain….. SEGAAAA!!!…. drops the Skies of Arcadia bomb onto PC.

  6. Nice. But these screenshots are not from the HD release, right? They are 4:3 for Christ’s sake.

  7. the story wen’t off the rails at the end but some of the best and most fun combat. i am glad it is being restored.
