  1. Anyone here that played both versions ? Just wondering which one is better, the original PC version or the Nintendo gamecube version.

    1. This is a PC release of the Gamecube game. It has higher resolution support, but since the 2D backgrounds weren’t designed with high resolutons in mind they get upscaled and look like crap.

If you mean which is better between the original 1996 game and the remake, the remake is better since it adds more plot elements and new gameplay features.

  2. never finished the first i hated the controls but i will give this a try. I am struggling for so long to finish re4 and re5 but i never manage to do it, i need to force myself through the game. I had no problems enjoying evil within, i guess it’s the controls.

  3. What irritates me the most is Capcom would have the source material files to re-render all the 2d backgrounds at much better detail but yet they choose to do a lazy job and just upscale the low res gamecube textured backgrounds….
