Square Enix has just announced that Kingdom Hearts 4 will be officially coming to PC, alongside its console versions. Moreover, the team has shared a new in-engine teaser trailer that you can find below.
Square Enix has not shared any additional details about Kingdom Hearts IV. So, we don’t know when it will come out. However, we do know that it will hit both Steam and the Epic Games Store.
Since this is an in-engine trailer, it should give you a glimpse at what the devs aim to create. There are a few seconds of combat in the middle of the trailer. From what I can see, Kingdom Hearts 4 appears to be using Unreal Engine 5. Or at least that’s the vibe I got from it.
Square Enix will most likely send us a press release later today. Once we get it, I’ll be sure to update this article with all the new information.
Enjoy the trailer and stay tuned for more!
UPDATE:
Sadly, the press release did not have any new details about Kingdom Hearts 4. Here is the paragraph it had about it.
Kingdom Hearts 4 follows protagonist Sora and some familiar characters as they journey through the mysterious city of Quadratum. Sora will once again journey to various worlds, where new figures cross his path and new powers awaken in this next chapter.

Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
