Nintendo has just released Metroid Prime 4: Beyond for Nintendo Switch and Switch 2. And, to the surprise of no one, this latest Metroid game is playable on PC via the latest versions of the Nintendo Switch emulators.
Going into more details, both Eden and Citron are able to run Metroid 4 Prime: Beyond. From what I know, you can play it with 60FPS at 4K (or even 8K if you own a high-end GPU) on PC. As such, PC gamers can get a better experience than those who game on the Nintendo Switch console.
As always, we won’t allow any download links to the ROM file of Metroid 4 Prime: Beyond. So, don’t bother sharing one in the comments. If you do share a download link, your comment will be deleted. So, consider this your warning.
I should also note that the Nintendo Switch version is playable on PC. You cannot play the Nintendo Switch 2 version. After all, there isn’t any emulator for Nintendo Switch 2.
It’s pretty funny that Ryujinx, Citron, and Eden can run all the latest Nintendo Switch games with no problem. This proves that Nintendo’s efforts to shut down both Ryujinx and Yuzu had another motive. If I were a betting man, I’d say that Nintendo shut them down so that it could slow down the creation of any new emulators for Nintendo Switch 2.
If you think about it, this is the most likely reason the big N went after those emulators. I mean, hardware-wise, Switch 2 is really close to the first Switch. So, normally, we would have seen an alpha version of an emulator for it. After all, the first version of Yuzu came out less than a year after the release of the Nintendo Switch.
Anyway, below you can find a video that shows the game running on both Eden and Citron. I don’t see any major visual glitches or issues. When Samus transforms into a ball, you can see a square semi-transparent visual artifact. Still, for a game that has just come out, both of these two emulators are doing an incredible job. Moreover, performance seems to be better on the Citron. So, if you want to play Metroid Prime 4: Beyond on PC, I recommend using Citron.
Again, don’t bother sharing a download link for the ROM file of Metroid Prime 4: Beyond. However, I can provide you with the download links for the Nintendo Switch emulators. You can download Eden and Citron from here and here, respectively.
Enjoy!

81 on Metacritic and 21 incompetent f4g companies working on it only to end up with a crappy game with polishing as Wii-tier games like Red Steel, a Wii launch title from 2006.
The only difference is that the former was regarded as a below average game and was forgotten shortly after release while the latter will only sell due to the brain dead soylent goyim normies' non-existent "nOsTaLgIaS!!!" about games they never even played in the first place and will be regarded as a "gReAt gAmE!!!" because of the delusion kiddies who will blind themselves into that because they're just too childish and immature to accept that it's a crappy game that doesn't hold a candle to its predecessors that was made by just 1 once-competent company.
At times like these, it really makes you wonder; (((WHO))) controls ((("the narrative")))?
Imagine being so brain dead to happily pay $70 for this trash like what these brain dead Jewtendo kiddies are doing.
Good post! We will be linking to this particularly great post on our site. Keep up the great writing
