NINJA GAIDEN 4 feature-3

Ninja Gaiden 4 gets a new 13-minute gameplay trailer, showcasing Yakumo’s advanced combat abilities

Team Ninja has released a 13-minute gameplay trailer for Ninja Gaiden 4. This trailer is based on the Gamescom 2025 build and showcases some of Yakumo’s advanced combat abilities. So, if you are looking forward to it, I highly recommend watching it.

NINJA GAIDEN 4 will combine Team NINJA’s clever combat with PlatinumGames’ fast and flashy action. You’ll battle in intense fights that look awesome and reward good skill and timing. You can use powerful moves like Bloodbind Ninjutsu to switch weapons and crush enemies, along with classic attacks like the Izuna Drop and Flying Swallow.

Players will not only control Yakumo. The legendary ninja, Ryu Hayabusa, will make his big return in Ninja Gaiden 4. As such, you will be able to play with both Yakumo and Ryu.

Ryu will have both brand-new weapons and abilities, as well as some fan-favorite tools from past games. You’ll be able to customize your fighting style so you can play the way you like best.

The game aims to push experienced players to their limits with tough enemies and tricky battles. At the same time, new players will still get an exciting, action-packed adventure full of intense fights, cool moves, and surprising moments.

Microsoft will release NINJA GAIDEN 4 on PC on October 21st. Since this is a PlatinumGames game, I’m a bit worried about the PC version. We all know how awful the PC version of NieR: Automata was. Or how about The Wonderful 101 Remastered? I really want to be proven wrong. But PlatinumGames’ PC history does not bode well. Anyway, you can also find its official PC system requirements here.

Stay tuned for more!

  1. finally bloody bits everywhere, fast gameplay rock music, unlike slow boring dark souls, reject souls slop, embrace dmc, metal gear rising revegeance and ninja gaiden.

      1. Because there has been a massive amount of soulslikes in the past few years, and we want less of those and more DMC-likes.

          1. The genres are similar enough to have comparisons made. Your analogy sucks, a more appropriate one would be RTS VS turn-based strategy games, or military shooters VS arena shooters.

  2. Got a headache just by watching this asset flip dog sh*t for 20 seconds.
I don't know how people willingly pay to play something.

    1. Agreed, it's the environment that is boring me to death. Nobody wants to see the same repeating textures over and over.

    2. I'm a fan of the earlier Ninja Gaiden games and let me tell you that even I share the exact same opinion as you do and the fact that this already looks even worse than the third game which was widely agreed in the fandom that it was the worst game in the series back then.

FYI, all of the previous games were made by Team Ninja, not crappy "Platinum" Games unlike this one. "Platinum" Games in general is an extremely overrated developer, all of their games minus Metal Gear Rising and Vanquish are 7/10 at best, and they literally haven't innovated in their recycled hack and slash slop for over a decade now and yet the delusional fanboys keep praising their crappy games supposedly as the best in the genre, when there are actually far better hack and slash games out there even if you aren't normally into hack and slash games.

I can already smell the recycled assets from their previous games for the tenth time now just from this trailer alone, and the delusional fanboys will still keep hyping their crappy games. Ninja Gaiden 3 held the title of "Worst Ninja Gaiden Game" for 13 years now since 2012. That apparently is about to change soon, because this is literally "Ninja Gaiden" in name only; the environments look more like Astral Chain (which was also made by Platinum Games, what a surprise) than any Ninja Gaiden game, the gameplay looks worse and isn't anywhere close to how the previous games played, and the MC of all of the previous games was Ryu, not this goofy-looking new OC that was never mentioned or even hinted at anywhere in the previous games.

      1. Yeah but I hate all hack and slash games, it just doesn’t work for me.
Out of curiosity, how old are you and did you play these games growing up?

        1. 1. Yes, I grew up with the Ninja Gaiden games (the "reboot" series at least, not the NES trilogy. That one exists too, you know. I never played it, but actually want to).

          2. I prefer not saying how exactly old I am, but all I can say is that I'm above 25+. However, I consider myself to be more mentally mature than most people (even 50+ year-olds, i.e. "mature beyond his age". The term "childish adult" exists for a reason, you know) nowadays. For example, whenever I make a mistake that I know that I'M the one who was responsible for it, I admit my mistake and apologize for it, not "try to justify" whatever inexcusable behavior someone does (no, criticizing Sodomy and JuDIEsm is not "wrong" and never was no matter how people think of these things as "normal!" and I will never apologize for criticizing them no matter what. Even if someone literally points a gun at my head to apologize for it, I won't). As for when someone lies and slanders me over things that I never actually did, I always try to argue with facts, evidence and proof, not argue with lies, falsehoods and "mUh fEwInGs!!!" like most "childish adults" nowadays. I attack the absurd argument, not the person attacking and resort to name-calling ("ad hominem", i.e. attacking the person's traits such as appearance, height, etc. that had nothing to do with the fight without attacking the actual argument, the reason for whatever fight between 2 or more people).

As a matter of fact about me, there are quotes on the internet attributed to historical figures that I actually agree with, but when I researched these quotes, they turned out to be fake and these historical figures never even actually said them, hence why I don't use them when I argue with people on the internet.

For example, the quote "If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it." that is attributed to Joseph Goebbels. And then there's another quote that is attributed to Albert Einstein saying "The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results." While I agree with the meaning of these supposed "quotes", they are not actually real quotes, hence why I don't bring them up when I try to reason with people on the internet. The latter quote has spread moderately on the internet back in the day while the former has spread so much that I even remember watching entire videos mentioning these quotes and even attributing them to Joseph Goebbels.

These people who mentioned these fake quotes obviously only saw them on the internet without doing actual research.

Lying and slandering to push a certain agenda others is a Jewish trait. How does it make us (non-Jews) any better if we argue with lies and falsehoods just like them rather than with facts and evidence? Isn't that literally hypocrisy? And if we do just like what Jews do, someone will eventually bring up the fact that these are actually fake quotes, and then we (non-Jews) are going to end up in an extremely embarrassing situation upon getting exposed for these lies that we won't know how to respond to them other than childish behavior and running away from our responsibilities.

          ——————————————————————————–

There's an article in Medium(dot)com titled "7 Signs That You Are Mature Beyond Your Age". These are the signs (but with details cut and replaced with my personal POV) that apply to me, not out of trying to "praise my self!" or trying make myself sound "cool" or "awesome!", but rather out of honestly (I gain nothing if I lie, there's no money or any benefits if I lie on any of this):

          1. They think pragmatically ✅

Whenever I say something that I WILL do it, I will. But if there's something that I already know that I WON'T be able to do it, I already clarify that I won't do it. I don't make false promises. If I promised someone to do something, but then like, life troubles happened midway that prevented me from doing it, I apologize for it.

          2. They are bound to their words ✅

          Same as above.

          3. They speak less and argue less (sort of) ✅

Whenever there's a talk between me and another person (not necessarily "friends", I do that to everyday people regardless of who they are), I always give the other person a chance to talk and explain their points and not allow myself to talk day and night without giving the other party a chance to explain their reason. I argue fairly.

          4. They are fine being lonely ✅

Yes, I am fine with being lonely, not "want to be" lonely. Having true friends is always a good thing. In fact, if you sit on your home day and night without going outside and without talking to anyone, it will affect your mental health and affect your personality very negatively over the time, which as a result, these comments will be reflected on your comments on the internet, and I'm saying that based on actual experience that even psychologists say the same.

          5. They embrace themselves completely ✅

Yes, I love myself, I'm proud of who I am and even who I chose to be. Almost everyone who knows me personally IRL loves me for my honesty, cuteness and cheerfulness because of how I'm always smiling and I always smile at people when I look at them to brighten up their day. I personally consider "helping people" (with what I can) to be fun. You know how "playing games" is "fun"? Similarly, helping people to me is fun too. I don't ask for anything in exchange over what I help, the only things that I ask in exchange for helping others are smiles 😊

          6. They don’t run from responsibilities ✅

If I ruin someone else's day, how would I supposedly claim to be "nOt rEsPoNsIbLe!" when evidence says otherwise? If I supposedly "dIdN'T dO tHaT!", then who else did? Hence why I try to not to do evil as much as I can in the first place. If you did something bad that you KNEW it was bad from the beginning and that thing ultimately ended you up being in jail, don't whine that you ended up being in jail, because you already KNEW in yourself that you were wrong, but you just won't admit it. If I did something bad, then I apologize for it. If someone slanders me supposedly for doing something that I never actually did or if someone twists the narrative of what actually happened, I will argue with facts and evidence, not lies and falsehoods or try to twist facts with lies, or worse, twist lies with more lies to paint myself supposedly as "innocent!" in that case to push my agenda. Lies are still lies in the end no matter how many countless times do you repeat it, they will always remain lies.

          7. They have a thirst for knowledge ✅

I always try to know more. For example I read different topics almost every single day other than just playing games day and night and focusing on just 1 or 2 topics every single day like reading history (real history, not fake Jewish revisions like WW2), where a certain phenomena originated from, what's the origin of a certain word.

I don't claim to "know about everything!", because claiming to know everything isn't the language of the "intellectual", it's actually the language of the ignorant. When there's something that I don't know of, I will openly say that I don't know about it, not supposedly "claim to know it!" For example, I literally know almost nothing about sports news, because I don't care about sports at all. I don't claim to "know everything about sports!"

There's literally nothing wrong with admitting your mistakes, because admitting mistakes is not only NOT a sin, it's actualy a virtue. We are all human beings after all, we all make mistakes. Do I claim to be an absolutely perfect person with no faults? Absolutely not. Like I said, we all make mistakes, but the thing is, we should LEARN from our mistakes to NOT REPEAT them.

As a rule of life, "No one is 100% full of faults and no one is 100% full of good," you'd be surprised that even some of the worst people ever (depending from your POV on who you personally consider to be the worst) to have some redeeming qualities if you were actually being honest without blindly and childishly hating on someone.

          ——————————————————————————–

There's another article on Psychology Today titled "Can You Spot 10 Signs of a Childish Adult?" that I also personally don't do any of them, I recommend reading just the signs if you have the time. I'll copy only the key points of the signs here:

          1. Emotional escalations

          2. Blaming

          3. Lies

          4. Name-calling

          5. Impulsivity

          6. Need to be the center of attention

          7. Bullying

          8. Budding narcissism

          9. Immature defenses

          10. No observing ego—that is, no ability to see, acknowledge, and learn from their mistakes

          ——————————————————————————–

If you have anything else to say, feel free to say 😊

          1. Oh my fcking god bro, how am I supposed to read this? you're basically writing a book here.
Brother, never read anything about psychology, it's pseudo science and low IQ nonsense.

          2. I'm not into psychology at all either, I just know about it based on what I went through, not because I wanted to "study" psychology (I never did and still don't).

            But you do you.

            Cheers mate 🤗

  3. interesting gameplay. this game will be using PlatinumGames's engine instead. NG2 Black was UE5. it will be interesting to see how the games compare.

  4. Looks more like Bayonetta/DMC than Ninja Gaiden. Looks like Platinum just took the IP and applied their own formula to it instead of trying to respect Ninja Gaiden.
Enemies are far more passive than in NG, and you have an i-frame dodge and a parry now. It's not Ninja Gaiden.
