Cyberpunk 2077 Path Tracing Overdrive

Cyberpunk 2077 just got a fully-featured apartment rent system

Modder ‘Dark Fortune Teller’ has released a cool new mod for Cyberpunk 2077 called Eviction Notice. This mod adds a full apartment rent system, new characters you can meet through text messages, and some light quest content to enjoy.

The goal of this mod is to add more story and challenge without taking over the whole game. In the early game, you’ll feel the pressure of making sure you have enough money to pay rent each week. You might even choose to move out of Megabuilding H10 to save some eddies. You’ll also have to decide how many apartments you want to rent at the same time.

At the start of each rent period (7 days by default), you’ll get a text message from the landlord of each property you currently rent. You’ll be able to pay your rent via text. If you fail to pay your rent on time, you’ll incur late payment fees each day until your rent is paid. The large, up-front cost you paid to rent an apartment in the base game is now the security deposit. You’ll still pay this when renting an apartment. This deposit is refundable if you decide to move out of an apartment. If you are evicted, they hang on to the deposit.

Eviction Notice adds a new landlord for every apartment you rent. Some are real people, and others are soulless chatbots. Each landlord will send you a message when you start renting from them, and at other times – like when rent is due or late. Every landlord has their own personality, and some even have a few surprises for you.

There’s also a Loyalty Quest you can do for Avery Clarke at Glenview Lofts. The quest, called Everything In Its Right Place, starts after you make 2 rent payments to Avery. It’s a very short quest, but if you finish it, you’ll get a monthly rent discount and the option to buy the Glenview Loft apartment forever. This feature is still being worked on, and more Loyalty Quests for other landlords will be added in future updates.

Overall, this is a cool new mod that some CP2077 fans may find interesting. You can go ahead and download it from this link.

As a bonus, here’s another mod that aims to improve the game’s vehicle collision FX. The mod attempts to change impact FX, scratches decals on walls, and sparks particles on collision. You can download it from this link.

Speaking of CP2077, here are some other great mods for it. For starters, you can download the Enhanced Photo Mode Unlocker. There’s also a mod that allows cars to fly, as well as other mods that can open up new areas to explore. Then we have this mod that adds a cool Grand Theft Auto-inspired Taxi Driver Mode. Oh, and don’t forget these mods that allow you to play as Ciri from The Witcher 3. Plus, there is a cool Urban Survival Immersion Μod.

If you don’t want to pay for a graphical mod, you can improve the game’s graphics with the following free mods. For instance, you can use the Ultra+ Mod. Not only does it improve the quality of Path Tracing, but it also improves performance. Its creator has claimed that it can speed up PT performance by 30-40%.

If, on the other hand, you don’t want to use it, you can try some other Path Tracing/Ray Tracing Mods. For instance, this mod disables all the fake lights when using PT/RT. And then we have this mod that can improve the path-traced reflections.

There are also some free HD Texture Packs to use. For example, you can use Cyberpunk 2077 HD Reworked or this other HD Texture Pack that improves all trees. There’s also another pack that improves the textures of almost all buildings, terrain, and environments. However, these packs don’t work together. Therefore, you’ll have to use only one of them.

Additionally, there’s a mod that adds realistic ragdoll physics to finishing moves. Plus, Law Enforcement Overhaul is a mod that enhances the game’s Police System. And there’s even a mod that integrates the OpenAI API, which enables ChatGPT support. Responsive NPCs is another cool mod that enables dynamic NPC reactions. Don’t sleep on it, as it can enhance your gaming experience. And finally, this mod restores 100 NPCs that were cut from the game.

Enjoy and stay tuned for more!

  1. I guess this mod adress the lack of overtly jewish characters in the game, but still, what a pointless mod, CP77 is full of these LARP mods that does absolutely nothing about the core of the game that is just driving around, shooting things, sneaking, etc. But still, if you want LARP these modders should do a mod that changes V s3xuality to one of your choice, because he / she is canonically bis3xual even if you don't engage with same s3x npc's.

    1. You are a total f@g, the first word after the headline is "modder", you don't even need to click the article.

      1. If you clicked this article without knowing it's a mod you are a low IQ baboon. There's plenty of clickbait garbage on this site but this one ain't it.

          1. Seriously, first word in the article is literally “modder”, i can’t deal with how absolutely STUPID you are, congratz.

  2. Nah thanks. I already live in a dystopian country. 😃👍

      1. Doesn't matter where the capitalists are from. They don't have a homeland either way. They will always make a deal while making the regular working people fight each other by sowing nationalism. Which is exactly what you're doing with your comment.

        1. What the hell am i even reading, they do have a homeland, sure, they stole it from others, but you get the point.

“They will always make a deal while making the regular working people fight each other by sowing nationalism. Which is exactly what you’re doing with your comment.”

So if i say we should target the people plotting sectarian violence, then it’s my fault and not theirs? Again, what the hell am i reading?

          1. So if i say we should target the people plotting sectarian violence, then it's my fault and not theirs?

You're carefully highlighting one side and completely omitting the other side. Hamas is plotting and carrying out the same "sectarian violence" but you choose to ignore it.

Again, what the hell am i reading?

Objective handle on things from a person that's not advocating for either warmongering side.

          2. ” Hamas is plotting and carrying out the same “sectarian violence” but you choose to ignore it.”

Not even close, they are waging war against an hostile occupying force hellbent on total extermination, it’s amazing to find people in the wild that holds the same beliefs as you. I mean, there is always the wh0r3s who say whatever stupid crap for money but to expect the same from some internet randoms…

          3. Again another nationalist comment. Why two sides can't come to an agreement, live in peace on some small peace of land and keep fighting like two Shakespearean families is beyond me. The only reason why is both elites are profiting from it, because both employ anti-human capitalism aimed at only one goal – increasing profits.

          4. Your comment is so vapid it can actually stun my thinking lol, but it all boils down to “can’t we all just get along?” saturday morning cartoon drivel.
