Dino Crisis Got a Cool Fan-Made Cinematic Unreal Engine 5 Video

YouTube’s Arnauddd Videau has made a fan cinematic for Dino Crisis using Unreal Engine 5. Given that this is created by a single person, it looks pretty cool. And since it’s Sunday, I thought it’d be fun to share it with you. So, go ahead and take a look at it.

In this cinematic video, Videau has re-imagined Dino Crisis as a scary horror game. And honestly, it looks really cool. The dark lighting and creepy atmosphere make it feel just like a survival horror game. This is exactly the kind of style Capcom should use if they ever decide to remake Dino Crisis.

Since this was made by just one person, there are some limitations. For example, the raptor’s movements aren’t very smooth, and Regina’s running animation is mediocre at best. Still, the overall look and style of the video is exactly what many fans would want in a real remake. That’s the main reason I decided to share it with you. Its overall direction is spot on.

Right now, Capcom has no plans to remake Dino Crisis. That’s a bit disappointing, especially since many dino fans would love a scary third-person remake. It makes sense that Capcom might be careful about spending a lot of money on it. Still, there’s a lot of potential for a great game here.

Anyway, as I said, I found this cinematic video to be cool. And, honestly, if you’re a Dino Crisis fan, you’ll like it too. So, be sure to watch it.
