Pearl Abyss’ Black Desert is free to keep on Steam

Pearl Abyss is currently offering for free its open-world, action MMORPG, Black Desert. For the next two weeks, PC gamers can visit its Steam store page and acquire their free copy.

Black Desert Online is a sandbox, living-world MMORPG. Players can experience fast-paced, action-packed combat, hunt monsters and huge bosses. Players can also fight with friends in a guild to siege nodes and region castles, train their life skills such as fishing, trading, crafting, cooking, and much more.

Black Desert features an expansive open-world map using Pearl Abyss’ proprietary game engine. With its character creation, players can experience an amazing level of customization. Players can adjust their height, torso, face, skin texture, and even various micro-level details.

Moreover, the game comes with a variety of choices. Some of them include farming, trading, fishing, sailing, cooking, horse training, and alchemy.

Black Desert came out in 2017, so you won’t need a high-end PC system. For instance, Pearl Abyss recommends an Intel Core i5 (8th Generation) or an AMD Ryzen 5 2000 Series with 16GB of RAM and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 Super. So, suffice to say that most of PC gamers will be able to run it.

This isn’t the first time Pearl Abyss offered its MMORPG for free. In April 2022, the team launched a free weekend for it. Still, if you haven’t tried it, you can do so today.

You can acquire your free copy from this link.

Have fun!

  1. " In April 2022, the team launched a free weekend for it."

Pretty sure it was free to keep back then, i already have a copy but never played it, i barely have time to play games, let alone games made for no lifers.

    1. I wanted to make fun of you for censoring words. Then I saw that the side does it. For words like s3x. 2024
      Have my apologies

  2. Unfortunately it doesn't look like there's any way to link my primary account with the one generated for Steam, so I can't have my characters from the paid account I've had for years on the Steam version.

  3. i played it back in 2019 never came past the tutorial levels.. its has a very unclear map and U.I. Graphics are very great and looks "next-gen" for free ? yes paying €9,99 ? nope.

    1. I got it for free and couldn't get pass tutorial either. These games are for people that have nothing better to do. I have money to make.

  4. Free to keep for the 10th time. ain't nobody have time to waste of these types of games. We're adults now, we have money to be made.
