Sony and Nixxes Software have shared the official PC system requirements for Horizon Forbidden West Complete Edition. In addition, NVIDIA revealed that the game will support DLSS 3 Frame Generation at launch.
PC gamers will at least need an Intel Core i3-8100 or AMD Ryzen 3 1300X with 16GB of RAM and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 or AMD Radeon RX 5500XT. The game will also require 150GB of free disk space.
For running the game at 1080p/Medium Settings with 60fps, PC gamers will need an Intel Core i5-8600 or AMD Ryzen 5 3600 with 16GB of RAM and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 or AMD Radeon RX 5700.
For 1440p/60fps or 4K/30fps on High Settings, Nixxes recommends using an Intel Core i7-9700 or AMD Ryzen 7 3700X with 16GB of RAM and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 or AMD Radeon RX 6800.
Finally, for the best PC gaming experience at 4K/Very High Settings with 60fps, the developers suggest using an Intel Core i7-11700 or AMD Ryzen 7 5700X with 16GB of RAM and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 or AMD Radeon RX 7900XT.
Horizon Forbidden West Complete Edition is coming to PC on March 21st. For those wondering, the game will not support any Ray Tracing effects. And yes, alongside DLSS 3, the game will support FSR 3.0 (as well as XeSS).
PC players will be able to fully customize their mouse and keyboard controls. And, like all of the Sony games, it will support DirectStorage. Horizon Forbidden West on PC will also offer unlocked framerates and customizable graphics settings.

Say whatever to Sony but they’ve earned my respect already without any actions against all of their consoles getting emulated all these years and also porting their exclusives to PC as well. They focus on games more than lawsuits.

There is a mod for the 1st game to improve aloy’s face (which is unsurprisingly one of the most popular ones on nexus mods) that does an ok-ish job. While it doesn’t make her attractive, it does make her less hard to look at, which is a commendable achievement IMO.
How do you look at your own face in the mirror then? I’m pretty sure 90 percent of you brown rats look utterly unfckable.

With a little math and Common Sense you can interpolate to other resolutions. For instance if it needs a 4080 to do 4k/60 then you should be able to get 1440p/60 with a 4070 or a 3080 or 1080p/60 with a 3070 or a 3060 Ti

This probably is going to be downvoted, but people with 4K 144Hz monitors want miracles. Today hardware just can’t manage it. 4K alone is 4 times 1080p, 4 monitors, plus 144Hz is more than double of frames of a 60Hz. It’s like 10 1080p 60Hz monitors at the same time. And everybody want that resolution and refresh in Ultra settings because they payed a lot for the hardware.

My 1080ti could do plenty of games at 4K/120. I’m not expecting miracles, just correct levels of optimization.
Thats cool, I have some friends who liked the first. I tried it myself but between the narrative and the gameplay loop it just wasn’t for me. Id rather just play monster hunter for a monster hunting title or anything else for the narrative lol.
I would think the repackers can separate out languages and usless stuff like extras, credits or artbooks or whatnot and get it down quite a bit in size. The reqs are usually everything all languages, extras, credits etc that most people have no use for a lot of it.
Repacks could make it pretty easy to sell physical usbC’s with the whole game on it btw even uncompressed 100gb+ worth of game size, scale of volume could bring those down to 1-2$ extra cost to consumer, doesn’t fit the rent seeker shyster plans though.
Trash game wouldn’t bother but gta6 likely 200gb+ so get ready for it.
