Metro-Last-Light feature

Metro: Last Light Complete Edition is free to keep on Steam for a limited time

4A Games is currently giving away for free the Complete Edition of Metro: Last Light. From today until May 25th, PC gamers can visit its Steam store page and acquire their free copy.

Metro: Last Light Complete Edition features the base/main game and all of its DLCs. Do note, however, that this isn’t Metro: Last Light Redux. In other words, you’ll be getting the original version of Metro: Last Light, and not its remastered version.

Now what’s really funny here is that 4A Games had de-listed Metro: Last Light Complete Edition from Steam. For this giveaway, though, the company has temporarily re-listed it.

Once you acquire your free copy, you’ll be able to play the game whenever you want. Even when 4A Games de-lists the game, you’ll still be able to play it.

You can acquire your free copy from here.

Have fun!

  1. much better story and combat and movement than metro exodus which has bad story too many pointless dialogues and filler crap ,awful weapons and you move like a snail and your legs explode if you fall off any kind of height.

    1. Story yeah, i kinda agree with you there (Last Light C’est La Vie ending is so much better than the canon one and that woould mean no Exodus) combat idk i might be misremembering since it has been a while since i played Last Light but i don’t remenber being that worse.

One thing i say i liked a lot was exploration specially on the 1° map, altough if you were to argue that is not what Metro is about i would have to agree, i still found pretty enjoyable and much better than the majority FPS with focus on exploration but maybe that is not a high bar to clear lol.

    1. Exodus was launched Feb 2019… damn… could be.

But i guess they would announce the new game first, and then give away something to warm you up into the franchise to buy the next installment.

  2. Thanks for the heads up John. Never played it, but hey – Free is for Me, and it’s surely worth checking out at that price lol.

  3. Off-topic:

Check out the latest update for the Zelda Ocarina of Time PC port, Ship of Harkinian. I’m using the the current-latest version of OOT Reloaded textures mod along with it.

          1. 60fps and beyond albeit they recommend to not go higher than 60fps at the moment. Presumably due to game logic issues.

No mouse support yet but it’s coming.

  4. Thanks for the info, and also related, Death Stranding is free to own in Epic Store right now, right up to 25 of may, so be sure to grab it.

  5. I’m so confused as to what version of Metro this is. I already own every version w/ dlc etc but I went to check this copy and see what’s different and they say nothing. Is it a Redux version also? No date either. Maybe I’m over thinking it. Guess it doesn’t matter since it’s always been in my library.
