miHoYo has announced that Update 3.0 for Genshin Impact will go live on August 24th. In order to celebrate this announcement, the team revealed its key features, and shared a new gameplay trailer for it.
Genshin Impact 3.0 will introduce a massive map expansion, featuring the distinct rainforest and Sumeru City. Moreover, it will add new Rich Archon Quests and World Quests. Players can also expect new playable Dendro mechanics and characters. And lastly, it will offer players a chance to obtain Collei for free.
miHoYo will also pack more optimizations and features with the massive expansion to enhance gameplay as well. Three new tools, the Boon of the Elder Tree, Ultra-Hot Burner Lamp Test Model, and Fishing Line Stabilizer can be acquired to make the wood farming, cooking, and fishing process easier. Colored shadows will also be available to make Teyvat a more vivid world.
Lastly, Genshin Impact Update 3.0 will offer cross-save and cross-play functions. As such, players will be able to enjoy their adventure across PlayStation, PC, Android, and iOS.
