Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade PC Requirements & First PC Screenshots

Square Enix has revealed the official PC system requirements for Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade. In addition, the publisher has shared the first PC screenshots from it.

Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade comes with graphical improvements, 4K and HDR support, improved framerates (up to 120 FPS in the PC version), a photo mode, additional content and more. Do note that these graphical improvements are over its original PS4 version. Therefore, you should not expect any new PC-only graphical enhancements.

According to the specs, PC gamers will at least need an Intel Core i5 3330 or AMD FX-8350 with 8GB of RAM. The game will also require 100GB of free hard-disk space.

For gaming at 1080p, Square Enix suggests using an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780 or AMD Radeon RX 480. For gaming at 1440p, the publisher recommends an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 or AMD Radeon RX 5700.

Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade is coming to PC on December 16th, and will be priced at 80 euros.

  1. GTX 780 / Radeon RX 480

GTX 780 is nowhere near RX480 (which is basically blocked RX580), especially in DX12 api LOL
Looks like Nvidia put some bribe there.

  2. 1. Made the game exclusive for a year
    2. Reupped on that deal by making the DLC exclusive for another 6 months
    3. Say nothing about a possible PC version entire time (get people to double or triple dip)
    4. Have a history of abysmal PC ports
    5. Announce a PC version a week before release, charging us more ($70+) and on a exclusive storefront

So not only were we forced to wait almost 2 years but now we’re getting charged more for their greed? I hope the PC community speaks with their wallet on this.

      1. Not worth a leech. Story is known, best you can hope for is SJW content smuggled in and poor PC performance as usual…

like I said, they are all creatively bankrupt – and soon completely bankrupt (you can only sell the same cräp so many times before even the last idiot gets bored, wait for it).

      2. Going to pirate it to assuage my curiosity, as I am a huge FFVII fan (somewhere in the 400 – 500 hours of repeated walkthroughs over the past 2+ decades).

Could easily watch a video of a walkthrough, I suppose, but my moral compass doesn’t extend quite so far as to feel sorry for Sony over a sale they didn’t get. My Steam library backlog is approaching 3000 digitally hoarded games – that was my contribution to game developers when I cared enough. Nowadays it’s whatever – console gaming, pc gaming, it’s all a means of entertaining ourselves for a few hours, enjoy a story and have fun with friends and strangers, but entirely inconsequential otherwise.

If it’s cracked, great. If it’s not, I’ll buy it when it drops sub-10 USD.

    1. Allegedly more. Supposedly it’s a port of the ps4 version which was $60 on release. Even if it is a port of the ps5 (which I highly doubt Square would go the extra mile for) we’re getting it almost 2 years later at full next gen price.

It’s BS either way you look at it.

      1. I saw on Epic store website that it was $70. Other sites have also said it’ll be $70. The euro conversion isn’t even accurate so they’ll be getting even more money from Europeans unless they have some backbone and don’t buy this.

    2. SE said all their games will come to Pc multiple times.

Not to mention it should be obvious by now that if it’s not nintendo theres a 95% chance the game will come to PC eventually

    3. I remember playing the original FF7 back in 1998 – think it was Square’s first PC port if I’m not mistaken. It wasn’t a flawless experience, but the game itself was really good. It was seriously hyped as well. Charging this kind of money for a remake is insane and pushing it out just before the year ends, looking for a cash grab is simply pathetic. But this is typically Square Enix. The entire PC community should simply boycott this just to prove a point, but that’s unlikely as many PC gamers will probably buy this title even at this price.

  3. Well, they had stuff like this in the original PS1 game, and back in the day it was hilarious.
But nowdays, laughing at a tr@nny could land you in jail, it seems.

  4. I dont know much about this remake but im a big fan of FFVII its one of my favourite games of all time. Im confused though because I read somewhere that this remake is coming in parts and that the first part is just the Midgar section. So how is Yuffie there?

  5. After all the sh*t Square’s pulled I’ll just wait til it’s free and there’s a mod to give Tifa her boobs back.

  6. I finished this game for ps4. I can’t play yuffie because square sucks.
And then they release it for PC with the DLC, that I can’t have in PS4, for 2 bars of gold.

No thks. But, when pirate bay will release the game?

  7. “So is this gay mission optional or must do it, In this Gaymake ?”

These jrpgs are quite linear so i’m betting it’s not optional.

“Also why the fck Cloud needs crossdress in the fcking original”

I think it was a rescue mission or something.

    1. Most likely yes, considering practically all Square Enix games comes with Denuvo on launch. But maybe they might not implement it due to the current issues with Intel Alder Lake CPU’s, however, that remains to be seen – will just have to wait and see.

  8. It’s a main story mission so you can’t skip it at all

You even have to do the gay dance moves pressing the buttons on the controller.

In the original it was already stupid that he had to crossdress as a female in order to fool some old guy for the main question(don’t remember the specifics about it exactly since it’s been too long since I’ve played it). But at least like I said it didn’t have any pandering like in this Gaymake.

They even considering turning the dance scene even gayer by making Cloud do pole dancing like a little ?b?i?t?c?h? ?f?a?g?g?o?t?.

    1. Most people aren’t closeted and are actually comfortable with themselves, so they don’t act like mentally deficient middle schoolers over a gay scene.

  9. Can’t believe this game was free with a month of PS+ to now being sold for $70us/$94cad on pc…. I guess I shouldn’t be surprised… they tried selling kingdom hearts collection which is like $30 on ps4 for over $200us on EGS. FFVII Remake will be the first game I will be “borrowing” this year! Thanks Tim Sweeney!!

  10. £70 in the UK that’s £20 more than standard RRP for PC games here. You get no additional content, plus no reviews are out so soon before launch as well is very worrying.

  11. That’s just another trope in the JRPG’s that japs are weirdly into, the pretty boy protagonist in a crossdressing scene…one of those things you have to stomach if you like the genre, specially Final Fantasy games.
At least Tifa is hot as f*ck with her dress (they even give her proper jiggle), everybody wins.
