Devolver has announced that Shadow Warrior 3 has been delayed until 2022. The publisher claims that the game needs a bit more polishing, which is why it has decided to delay it. Additionally, Devolver released a new in-engine trailer that you can find below.
Shadow Warrior 3 promises to launch the offbeat first-person shooter series to the next level. Additionally, it will have a seamless blend of fast-paced gunplay, razor-sharp melee combat, and a spectacular free-running movement system.
In Shadow Warrior 3, players can conduct a symphony of death with each encounter by mixing overwhelming firepower with devastatingly precise katana strikes as they dash in and around the demonic hordes.
Players will be able to execute spectacular finishing moves to claim a piece of their conquered foe. Players can also unleash its powers back on the horde in a burst of unstoppable fury and powerful magic.
Furthermore, each environment will have hazardous structures and devices. Thus, players can activate them to add another layer of creative choice to the offensive strategy.

Masterpices is a bit of a stretch, but they were fun. I just hope they ditch the procedurely generated levels. Got tired of seeing the same recycled assets after about 6 hrs in SW2.
I think it can be done well if they add more assets and maps to stitch. It is better than a linear and predesigned maps which you have to return over and over. Diablo is a good example of random map and not feeling repetitive.
A good map can be iconic and a pleasure to return to over and over again. I would prefer they have specifically designed maps more main core levels, and then use PGL for side missions.
