Fallout 4: Sim Settlements 2 Chapter 2 is a new DLC-sized Mod that adds new quests, game mode & more

The team behind Fallout 4: Sim Settlements 2 has announced a new DLC-sized mod to it, featuring the Gunners as a fleshed-out faction, continuing the story of Sim Settlements 2. In other words, its an expansion to the Fallout 4: Sim Settlements 2 Mod.

Chapter 2 will add new disease mechanics, multiple large questlines, and a brand new game mode. In this new mode, you will establish your own faction headquarters.

Chapter 2 will be its own plugin that requires Sim Settlements 2 to be installed (which itself requires Workshop Framework). In addition, Chapter 2 will require the official Automatron Fallout DLC.

The team plans to release this huge mod sometime in the Fall of 2021. Additionally, it released a brand new trailer that you can find below.

As always, we’ll be sure to keep you posted. Until it becomes available though, you might be interested in some other Fallout 4 mods.  Fallout London is a DLC-sized expansion and there is a Silent Hill mod for Fallout 4, called Whispering Hills. There is also a 3.7GB Mod that adds 14 different weapons, and a 3GB Mod that overhauls all buildings of the Commonwealth. The Wilderness Mod adds a worldplace that is as big as Nuka World. And lastly, there is a mod that adds different/unique ending cinematics to all factions.

Enjoy!

  1. Once again it’s up to the fans to bring the fallout content the fans deserve.

Seriously what is up with Bethesda. They sit on the IP not doing anything with it. And instead pump money into fallout 76…..

        1. I wont deny that, but as a single and only game, it is considered complete and done. Focus on a new single player game.

FA76 is a different game. If i had to characterise it, a single game (story) with coop elements (events and free roaming). As such its an ever expanding world, a policy granted to mmos and other online games decades now.
Even then, the game misses so much content in the multiplayer dep, a half arsed creation of a multiplayer world. Still, it has its charm

          1. Looking forward to Fallout 5 hoping they are putting time and money into that, kind of getting sick of game companies taking single player games and turning them into MP hated that my whole life. Always seems to ruin the SP experience and Fallout in itself is a great exp mainly cause you feel alone kind of improves the whole feeling at least to me.

          2. There is no “ruining it” as far the single player story goes for fA76. Its actually pretty good. What’s really lackluster is the multiplayer path.
I for one, would certainly expect a modern engine for FA5, that can handle shadows and draw distance.

          3. Are you kidding me? I want to love FA76 but i can’t hell they didn’t even have NPC’s for like months after “release”

          4. But they do years now. Game is complete ages ago, its been routinely fixed and maintained.
For mp game though it lacks content.
