Big Sugar and BerserkBoy Games have announced a new retro 2D action platformer that will be coming to PC in 2022, Berserk Boy. The game will have an authentic, lovingly crafted retro aesthetic with a visual style influenced by the classic look of Sega Genesis/Mega Drive games.
In this game, players assume the role of Kei; a young hero who has the power to change into multiple elemental forms.
Berserk Boy promises to have tight platforming, gorgeously illustrated cut-scenes, a variety of play-styles, and a rewarding upgrade system.

I’m not sure why, but the look and feeling makes me think much more about the Super Nintendo, like a Megaman game.
