As we’ve already reported, CD Projekt RED has shared a new gameplay video for Cyberpunk 2077. That video featured gameplay sequences from the PS4 Pro version, and below you can find an early comparison between the PC and the PS4 Pro versions of Cyberpunk 2077.
As we can clearly see, the PC version looks significantly better than the console version. In fact, and contrary to other multi-platform games, everything looks better on the PC. From shadows and textures to the lighting itself, the PC version is one step further than the PS4 Pro version.
Of course this should not really surprise us. After all, Cyberpunk 2077 will be using a lot of Ray Tracing effects on the PC. As we’ve already reported, the game will support both Ray Tracing and DLSS 2.0. CD Projekt RED will be using Ray Tracing in order to improve Diffuse Illumination, Reflections, Ambient Occlusion and Shadows.
Cyberpunk 2077 releases on December 10th, and we can’t wait to get our hands on it. Be also sure to read the game’s full Ray Tracing PC system requirements.

I believe it’s full on, including RT (car reflections look in a another class compared to PS4).
Shadows are also more precise and not just extra in extra internal resolution sense.

Followed by it’s “Blur effect” on PS4 Pro to hide lack of detail. The PC version looks so sharp that looking at the PS4 PRo version is like somebody smeared crisco on your monitor… Man last gen did not age well at all with it’s limited GDDR5 used for graphics…

Also this is the reason why the PC version has been delayed for so long… Remember when CDPR was a actual PC developer… I am pretty sure Witcher 2 Enhanced Edition was the last actual PC game from them… 😀

Ps5 and Series X and PC comparison are going to be huge whenever those go up. Its the number 1 most anticipated game of the last 5 years. If Xbox or PS5 are much different, the tribes will be using that as major ammo. As it is Xbox is showing better loads times than PS5 for cross plat games despite Sony and its tribe screaming about its superlative SDD speeds. But then look at Observer, PS5 and PC have raytracing while Series X doesn’t despite being more powerful than PS5.
Oh man. Its like the with the PS4 pro I feel like I just need to clean my glasses off so bad. Once you go 1440p and 4k, its nearly impossible to go back to 1080p. If that is even what the PS4 is running that game at. It could be something like 900p upscaled to 1080p.
4k and 60hz have ruined gaming for me. I 100% can’t play 1080p or 30fps anything anymore (unless its some retro game).
