Dreampainters has released a new set of screenshots for NASCENCE – ANNA’S SONGS, showcasing some of its 8K assets. NASCENCE – ANNA’S SONGS is a new adventure game that will be coming to the PC in 2021.
NASCENCE – ANNA’S SONGS tell the story of Thomas; an ex-pro photographer from London who goes to Reluné, an abandoned tourist town, to carry out a secret mission.
Thomas will have to unveil the dark past of the town and its inhabitants, while dealing with his own demons, in an attempt to uncover the truth about this seemingly pleasant and charming location, where not everything is as it seems.
NASCENCE – ANNA’S SONGS will be a fully stand-alone and self-contained experience. Thus, it won’t need any prior knowledge of the original “Anna” to be enjoyed at its fullest.
Enjoy!

Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2. Garbage
Oh joy another walking sim.
Set in a forest, made with garbage engine 4…
There is almost NEVER a reason to use an 8K asset unless the asset itself is massive. Any game artist worth their salt should understand texel density.
can we kill things? I hope so. horror games without a narrative are as bad as horror games without weapons
Couldn’t agree more!
10 minutes in Photoshop and I’ll do better.
Its really no point in having an object that have 100 pixels per pixel on screen beside wasting resources…
