Shadow Warrior 3 screenshots 2

Devolver will announce a new Shadow Warrior game on July 11th, first in-engine screenshots

As we’ve already reported, Devolver Digital will hold its Direct show on July 11th. And, from the looks of it, the publisher will officially reveal a new Shadow Warrior game during that event. Moreover, Flying Wild Hog has shared the first in-engine screenshots from this Shadow Warrior game.

Unfortunately, we don’t know much about this Shadow Warrior game. And, to be honest, I don’t expect it to be a DLC for Shadow Warrior 2. After all, Shadow Warrior 2 came out in 2016. So yeah, we are most likely looking at the next part in the Shadow Warrior series.

Flying Wild Hog has stated that it is currently preparing the game’s announcement trailer. And, the following screenshots, showcase some of its environments. One of them also has a bunny and… well… we all love bunies.

These two screenshots showcase great visuals. Furthermore, it looks like the game will retain the incredible art style of Shadow Warrior 2.

Enjoy the screenshots and stay tuned for more!

      1. I dont hate it, but they change so much of what made the first one great. Randomly generated levels and borderlands type weapons are two of the biggest flaws for me. And then there’s smaller like crappy character models, worse humor (fortune cookies ruined) etc etc Basically the only thing that’s better is the movement and I used that to skip a lot of the boring mobs, which I never did in SW1

        1. On point criticism of the second game. Extremely boring levels and loot. I would also add that the first game’s humorous story developed into quite a touching drama near the end – and that bit of emotional engagement was also almost completely missing from the sequel.

    1. those mechanics make them game hard to think about replaying and the game has so much content too, that’s ashame. Love dit though, but don’t want that BL BS in it anymore.

    2. Shadow Warrior 2 was a mistake. I strongly disliked that game, unlike the first reboot which I still enjoy to this day.

  1. after 2 i dont see what they can do, i hope to god its not some wolfenstein young blood style spinoff and for the love of god get rid of the borderlands stuff and the random level design. Look just copy doom 2016, just do that, combat has to feel powerful weapons have to have impact, enemies have to react to damage, none of that borderlands damage numbers sht. Also make unique and different levels like doom 2016

  2. FUQ YEAH!!!… But please for the love of God get rid of that Borderlands BS in the game. It’s so not needed, there is a reason why i don’t play borderlands.

  3. I loved shadow warrior 2. it made me sit at my pc playing for hours enjoying the game.not a alot of games can do that nowdays.i hope the next one is even better.

  4. Hopefully it’s not another looter shooter like Shadow Warrior 2 was. Couldn’t force myself to finish it. Stopped at about 40% in and uninstalled. Yet completed the first one over 3-4 evening sessions.

  5. Looks like one of the first areas of the first Shadow Warrior game they made, maybe its a remaster of the first new Shadow Warrior? The original MS-Dos game had a different run of levels, I wish they went to a more serious environment, dark city sky scrappers, city blocks and stuff like that, a bit more John Woo’s “Stranglehold” like but with Shadow warrior mythological creatures.
