Warner Bros has just announced that on August 22nd, it will welcome fans everywhere into the DC FanDome; a free? virtual fan experience where no badge is required. During this event, Warner Bros plans to reveal new DC games.
As the press release reads:
“The DC FanDome is the? ?place to hear highly anticipated announcements and the latest news, see exclusive footage, and venture into themed worlds designed to entertain everyone from movie and TV superfans to gamers and readers, to families and kids. Expect special presentations to engage fans in every time zone across the globe.”
Back in March 2020, Bloomberg’s Jason Schreier revealed that Warner Bros planned to reveal new games at E3 2020. And, from the looks of it, the big publisher will be indeed revealing its upcoming games this Summer.
From what we know so far, Warner Bros may reveal a new Batman game during this event. Moreover, we may also get our first glimpse at what Rocksteady has been working on. Warner Bros has been hinting at this new Batman game for a while, so let’s hope that the publisher will not drop the ball… again.
Now while we can expect these two DC games two be revealed at the DC FanDome, we are still on the dark regarding the Harry Potter game. Warner Bros planned to reveal it at E3 2020. Thus, we may see this game in either Microsoft’s or Sony’s upcoming events. Microsoft’s Xbox Series X event will take place in July 2020. On the other hand, Sony may hold a new event this August.

Doesn’t that sort of prevents them from announcing and/or releasing any new games until matters is settled.
LucasArts being sold to Disney did cause basically all announced and planned games to be cancelled. Wouldn’t the same likely happen to Warner Bros Interactive should they be sold to someone like Take-Two, EA or Activision?
i heard they were really working on a superman game but WB rejected Rocksteady pitch,i guess there is just no way to make a decent superman game,this character is too broken to have its own game

If Take-Two Or EA buy Warner Bros Interactive I don’t think game be cancelled.
If so, then what happened when Disney bought Lucasfilm and Arts?
Or I do know what happened, but I somehow still expect the same to happen with WB and their games should the deal happen.
Take-Two Or EA is just video game company not like Disney,I think Disney never interest to invest in making game,that’s why all announced and planned games to be cancelled.
But for EA and Take Two,is different they want games and profit from it,4b isn’t small money even for them.
I think the existence of the game would probably be an incentive in a deal for perspective buyers.
I don’t even care about new games from them (except the Harry Potter thing with destruction physics looked very nice). I’m still sad about Arkham Knight’s fate. Brilliant game absolutely murdered by technical issues at release and to this day you still need a mod to run it properly on PC. If they could give that title a big make-over with ray-tracing support released on next-gen and PC with SOLID PERFORMANCE it could finally get the recognition it deserved and was denied by the developers rushing it out the door unoptimized.
Arkham Knight runs flawlessly for me. Has been since 2017 when I got a gtx 1070 and 16 gb of ram. Now it runs even better with an rtx 2070. No mods required.
