Kojima Productions has revealed the official PC system requirements for Death Stranding. According to the specs, PC gamers will at least need an Intel Core i5-3470 or an AMD Ryzen 3 1200 with 8GB of RAM.
For its minimum requirements, Kojima Productions lists an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 and an AMD Radeon RX 560 graphics card. The game will be also using the DirectX 12 API, and will require 80GB of free hard-disk space.
For gaming at 30fps, Kojima Productions recommends using an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti or an AMD Radeon RX 570. For gaming at 60fps, the team recommends using an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 or an AMD Radeon RX 590. Kojima Productions did not reveal the settings that these recommended requirements target. My guess is that we’re looking at 1080p/High settings.
Death Stranding is coming to the PC on July 14th, and will be using the Denuvo anti-tamper tech.

Surprisingly modest.
Unlike it creator
Decima engine.
It’s basically made from ground up to obtain the most out of outdated x86 hardware like the PS4 and Xbone consoles have, while still being flexible enough to offer some impressive performance and new features and implementations on newer hardware.
Kudos to Guerilla Games engine devs.

Here’s the IQ requirement for wanting to play this pile of crap, <1.
lol
i will play it cause hideo kojima
I used to be an insane Kojima fan. This degeneracy is not worth anyone’s time.
I played it on PS4 and regret buying it. I’ll most probably trade it in for something requiring more involvement. Games are supposed to be fun, not a chore.
Yeaaaahhhh this game looked like WORK. Which is a problem I have with a lot of newer games. Just full of repetitive grindy bullshit.
DX12 is very surprising…
I was expecting Vulkan since it’s a PS project. Not that the PS4 (or PS5) use Vulkan (it uses Sony’s own GNM).
Sony release on PC – “will be using the Denuvo anti-tamper”
MS release on PC – no single game with Denuvo
But most games in the MS store instead of Steam so it’s a wash lol. I’d much rather a game have Denuvo than have to deal with MS’ terrible digital store. Not to mention, I coulda swore the whole idea of Denuvo ruining performance or whatever was debunked… As long as you have a decent system that is. And yeah I know some of MS’ titles have made their way to Steam, but not everything. The Forza franchise is still stuck in the MS store as an example.
Microsoft’s DRM is almost as bad as Denuvo, without even mentioning how many of their games are always online.
UPS Simulator. Played it for a few hours and regretted even loading it up, what a boring game
LOL
580 eats that GeForce for breakfast in APIs like DX12 and VULKAN and 590 detroys, like BBC destroys small tight asian peach
The 580 definitely aged better, though I’m not sure why you’re relishing that unless you own a lot of AMD stock or something.
Finally I can cure my insomnia from the comfort of my desk.
Why put Denuvo cancer when it’s not even worth pirating
To give the crackers something to do.
And at what resolution?!?
very low system requirements!
please tell mister kojima to pay me first if he wants me to play his video games.
Same minimum like Final Fantasy XV,so i can run it with decent fps…
Why is every Playstation exclusive a boring third person game?
so true
You’re poorly informed.
“HDD”
But i thought that SSD in the consoles was supposed to have games take advantage of it?
A walking simulator AND Denuvo?
No thanks. This game is boring enough on its own.
I’d rather go shopping. Much more fun than this joke. I might punish myself to play it if I was paid to do so.
I am genuinely relieved to see so many people hating this degenerative chore of a game. Too bad that it had to happen so late, though. We must’ve shown Kojima our hate for him back in 2015, when MGSV happened and everyone was screaming words of praise for it and just completely blocking out the fact that it’s a choreful, bothersome, unfinished grind of a stealth action game. It directly lead Kojima to Death Stranding, showed him that it’s perfectly fine to make work-games.
I f*king called it. Nobody listened. Now we have this sh*t. But at least now people are actually angry. Better late then never, I guess.
Kinda light.
This is the only game I’m excited to play this year.
INB4 “Fedex simulator”.
