A couple of days ago, we informed you about Rocksteady not attending this year’s E3 event. Well, it appears that things are going to get even worse for all DC fans out there as Warner Bros Montreal has also announced that it won’t be attending E3 2019.
Warner Bros Montreal’s Creative Director, Geoff Ellenor, claimed that he is not on a plane travelling to any event, making it crystal clear that the team will not be showing its rumoured Batman game at the biggest gaming event.
Waiting for #GodzillaMovie to start. In Montreal. Which for concerned parties is in a theater. NOT an airplane. In case you needed to know in some way. 😎

According to reports, Warner Bros Montreal is working on a Batman: Court of Owls game. This was hinted by a T-Shirt that WB Montreal’s Assistant Producer was wearing, featuring a logo almost identical to the Court of Owls symbol.
The absence of both Rocksteady and Warner Bros Montreal from E3 2019 means that we won’t hear anything at all about the rumoured Justice League (or whatever Rocksteady is working on) and the rumoured Batman: Court of Owls games. At this point, it’s safe to assume that these games will target next-gen consoles so don’t expect to be playing them anytime soon.
Bummer!

Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2. 5 bucks says it’s a playstation 5 launch title. Holding out for the PS5 announcement.
Is PS5 that close to release ?
It seems to be. Basically, the new consoles are just waiting on Ryzen 3000 series and Navi and the hardware is ready. AMD is holding a huge event during E3 this year to show off just that.
The PS5 could come as early as March, or as late as November. But, it’s coming.
Notice Sony pulled out of E3, it’s because they’re switching gears to PS5.
Welp. After what AMD has shown (Ryzen 3000) i can’t wait to have that tech in my hands but let’s be honest here. Whatever SONY’s going to put in their PS5 will lead to 4k/30sluggishfps. Still lackluster. I don’t get it why the hell won’t they make it 60 ughhh. The difference is so hugeeeee in smoothness it’s unbearable.
Yeah, 30 FPS is why I struggle playing games on console. I only play the exclusives because there is no other way to play them.
One thing to keep in mind with the PS5 is, historically, consoles have had slow, several year old processors. This has been the primarily limitation (they’re horrible processors in there right now).
This round, we’re getting brand new designs hot of the press. Hopefully, that’s the difference we’ve been waiting on.
Yea but it’s still an APU right ? New but still not performing like a dedicated gpu. I wish they’d give us the option of having an external gpu.
It’s not known for sure, but quite likely considering costs. It could be some chiplet style design using GPU and CPU core clusters or something. Who knows.
An external GPU would be amazing, but I would imagine the latency would be an issue unless it was designed in from the ground up.
Fall 2020, so yeah. Less than 1.5 years from now.
Pretty hip to not show up and just going back to vertical slices again these days.
this is better :
