Mortal Kombat Arcade Kollection won’t be coming to the PC after all

With the recent news about the delay of the console patch for Mortal Kombat Arcade Kollection, we began wondering; what ever happened to the PC version of the game that was supposed to be out one month after the console releases? To our surprise, there isn’t any store – digital or retail – that has the PC version and to make things worse, Ed Boon himself said – a few days ago – that there never was a PC version of this arcade collection.
Yeap, you read that right. When a fan asked Boon on Twitter about the release of Mortal Kombat Arcade Kollection’s PC version, Boon replied saying that there never was a PC version of their game. So, the obvious question is; if there wasn’t any PC version, why Warner stated that the PC version would be delayed?
This is really fishy and to be honest, we are puzzled with this whole PC ‘fiasko’. The PC version was listed in GFWL and, more importantly, it was listed and referred in pretty much every press release. We’ve contacted Warner Bros and are waiting for an official statement about it.
UPDATE:
According to Warner Bros, the game is not cancelled. However, there is no release date yet.
