  1. “Far Cry 5 was Ubisoft’s second biggest release ever”

Polygon, Kotaku, Gamespot and PC Gamer on suicide watch. ?

    1. PC gamer = Xbox gamer = Low IQ gamer.
they are trying to appeal to wider audience and it’s very reasonable business wise but it’s very clear their community and even their staff can’t mix. one of these days some young hipster cuck is going to take over the entire website and turn in into Polygon 2.0

    2. I was gonna post that.

Gameplay wise its the best far cry, story needs works.

Personaly i like the fc4 setting and enviroment more.

  2. From their 2017/2018 Financial Report:

    Breakdown of sales by platform

    PLAYSTATION 4 42%
    XBOX One 23%
    PC 18%
    SWITCH 7%
    XBOX 360, PS3, Wii, Wii U 2%
    Mobile 8%

Ubisoft makes most of their money from consoles so it should be no surprise when they cater to consoles but don’t think for a second that they aren’t making a lot of money from PC gamers in spite of their exaggerated nonsense about us being pirates.

€1,731.9 million in sales. 18% (PC sales) is €311.7 million in sales from PC in one year. They’re not doing us a favor by porting their games to PC. They’re making a lot money from doing so. We have every right to expect decent ports and support from Ubisoft.

      1. To be honest, I’ve never really had many problems with Ubi’s PC ports. The only two bad ones I can remember were SC: Double Agent and AC: Unity (the latter was a mess on all platforms).

For me they’ve always been pretty solid, but maybe I just missed some troubled ports.

        1. Far Cry 3 was plagued with constant stutter that was never fixed and the map editor was locked to 30 fps.

    1. PC 18%
I can tell you why 😉
Look at their promo, BF1 was on Origin with 30% Off on the launch month.
Try to buy some older AC (for the collection)
AC:U, AC:S and all we need is good price at max ~6-9.90€
We need Deluxe editions upg. for max 2-4.90€ (for AC III & AC:BF)
Where are those great Promos (2014-2016) Great older games at 1€ !
now it’s >3-4€ for the same games ! lol

  3. I’m going to play this eventually, when I can get it for <$25.
Not because it's not worth 60, but cuz I'm cheap and stuff.

  4. Nice to see that Ghost Recon (LOL I still laugh even calling this pile of crap by its given name) Wildlands has reached 10 million abandoned accounts. What a smashing success.

  5. Yes, but how many combat drops? 😉
    [Read, actual Gaming Players]
Yesterday i’ve tested my new Sencheisers G4Me One (for daily gaming i have 5.1 wooden setup) and i’ve waited for game >than 4min !
IMO R6:S base is very small now, i have Pre-oder so im playing Rainbow from Alpha/Beta & so on ….
For comparison, BF3 has more active players now 😉 not to mention BF4 or BF1….
Shame, cuz some UBI games are really good, FC5 is OK ~4/5
