Ubisoft has announced that For Honor will be free to play this weekend. This free weekend will begin on August 10th at 10:00am PDT and will last until on August 13th at 1pm PDT. In order to celebrate this announcement, Ubisoft has also released a new trailer dedicated to this free weekend that can be viewed below.
In case you weren’t aware of, Ubisoft has recently revealed that For Honor will be getting dedicated servers, and the game will continue to evolve through regular gameplay updates which take into account community feedback.
As Ubisoft noted regarding the game’s dedicated servers:
“The development team at Ubisoft Montreal is currently working on a dedicated server infrastructure. In conjunction to the dedicated server implementation, enhancing peer-to-peer stability and matchmaking remain priorities for the team.”

While he is a die-hard PC gamer, his gaming roots can be found on consoles. John loved – and still does – the 16-bit consoles, and considers SNES to be one of the best consoles. Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2. John has also written a higher degree thesis on the “The Evolution of PC graphics cards.”

The desperation is through the rough with this one.
