Devil May Cry 4 Special Edition versus Devil May Cry 4 – DirectX 10 Comparison Screenshots

Capcom has just released the Special Edition of Devil May Cry 4 for the PC, and below you can find some comparison screenshots between this new version and the old DX10 one. As we can see, some new graphical effects have been added like sun-shafts, bloom, haze, transparent crystals and motion blur. However, we have to note that the new motion blur effect actually ‘hurts’ the game’s visuals as everything looks really blurry (due to the quick camera movements). Thankfully there is a workaround but you’ll need a HEX editor. The Special Edition images are on the left, whereas the original DX10 images are on the right. Enjoy! Rumour: Star Wars Battlefront Closed Beta Launches July 2nd

Toukiden: Kiwami – Gamespeed Tied To Framerate, Framerate Locks At Half The Native Refresh Rate

Toukiden: Kiwami has just been released on the PC and from the looks of it, this is another port that PC gamers should avoid. According to a lot of reports, the game runs at the half of your native refresh rate. Steamspy has published the statistics for Steam’s Summer Sale. As we can see, indie survival dino title, ARK: Survival Evolved, has managed to raise $10 million, making it one of the most successful indie early access games. However, ARK: Survival Evolved was not the best selling game on Steam, as Counter-Strike: Global Offensive has managed to sell more copies. XCOM 2 – E3 2015 Gameplay Trailer

2K Games has released the E3 2015 gameplay trailer for XCOM 2, in which XCOM soldiers strike back against the alien occupation by sabotaging an ADVENT landmark. XCOM 2 will feature more soldier customisation, updated classes, as well as procedurally-generated levels (the game’s state of the world affects each combat mission’s environment).
