Good news for all horror fans as the alpha testing phase of Among The Sleep has begun, and a number of backers have already got their hands on it. One of them is YouTube’s ‘Vaecon’ who has posted a gameplay video from it. Among The Sleep is heavily based on atmosphere and exploration, and using the two year old child’s perspective. The team aims to include some puzzle and adventure elements as well, but our main focus lies on exploration, atmosphere and horror. Our reader Cristian Fabian Munoz Isla has informed us about the progress of his Mortal Kombat II Snes mod for Doom via skulltag/zandronum. According to the modder, this mod has been completed by 50% and in order to showcase the progress that has been made to it, Doomero has released a video that can be viewed below. This mod has potential, however there are still issues that need Doomero’s attention. As huge MK fans, we find it really interesting so make sure to give it a go. Eldon Harris has informed us about his upcoming zombie apocalypse survival indie title called Stop the Planet: I want to get off. The game is developed by Harris and Debora (the duo has formed the ‘Roencia Game Creators’ company) and there is a Kickstarter campaign for it. Players must survive against zombie, aliens, bandits, and nature. The title is being created via Gamemaker:Studio and is described as an open world exploration & survival with base construction game, and its release date will be postponed if it doesn’t get funded. Black Flag has been in development for nearly two years, and is being spearheaded by the Assassin’s Creed teams in Ubisoft Montreal with support from Ubisoft studios in Annecy, Bucharest, Kiev, Quebec, Singapore and Sofia. It seems most gaming websites though found out about this deal a couple of days ago.
