Unending Dawn feature

Unending Dawn is a mix of Elden Ring, Sekiro & Genshin Impact, powered by Unreal Engine 5

Parcaes Fate Studio is currently working on an Unreal Engine 5-powered game that appears to be a mix of Elden Ring, Sekiro and Genshin Impact, called Unending Dawn. And, surprisingly enough, it seems to work. A few months ago, the team shared a gameplay video from it. So, go ahead and take a look.

As you will see, the game’s environments feel similar to what we got in Elden Ring. However, its art style is closer to Genshin Impact. Basically, the game looks like a hybrid between these two games. So, some may love it while others may hate it.

Now what’s interesting here is that the combat mechanics of Unending Dawn are heavily inspired by Sekiro. Players will be able to parry enemy attacks. And, like in Sekiro and Wo Long, you will be able to break your enemy’s poise to get big finishers. Plus, the game appears to have some special moves. These moves are at the bottom right and are similar to those of Genshin Impact. And yes, there will be boss fights in it.

From what we know so far, WadaGames plans to release this game first on mobile devices. However, since it’s powered by UE5, we can safely assume that it will also find its way to the PC. That, or PC gamers will be able to use an Android emulator to play it.

Finally, I’m pretty certain that Unending Dawn will not be using Lumen or Nanite. In this video, there are a lot of pop-ins. The lighting also appears to be pretty standard. So no, don’t expect it to ‘wow’ you with its graphics. The biggest draw here is the art style and the tight combat.

Anyway, it looks interesting so be sure to check it out!
