The Witcher fans, get ready for a treat. A new video from E3 2014’s build has appeared on the Internet. Contrary to what we’ve been getting lately, however, this is direct HD footage from the build that was presented. Therefore, you can go ahead and enjoy the visuals and all those small details that this new RPG will implement, like bendable vegetation, high quality textures, displacement mapping and water ripples. Enjoy!

Blood spreading in the water and then those ripples… on an open world rpg. I’m so happy I pre-purchased this on steam.
yup, also that dismembering of the enemies, I came. Just in general so many dynamic things in this games world. The detail CDPR put into this is astounding. Makes me even more excited for Cyberpunk as well.
Indeed. And the size of the world should be bigger than skyrim.. with this much detail.
Why steam ? You should’ve ordered it on GOG where the profit all goes to CDPR themselves XD
There isn’t a store in existence where the whole 49 euros or whatever goes to the developer. I believe more will, but not all. But is the gog version a steam version? It’s not a big deal but I’d like to have it on steam.
GOG is owned by CDPR themselves so, yes, the whole money goes to them and Witcher 3 is DRM free so whichever version you get will be the same. Acutally, getting the GOG version will give you many more bonuses like manual, soundtrack and stuff. Though I haven’t checked the Steam version yet. Look at their site
Whaaat, they own that site? Didn’t know that. Is it possible to cancel my pre-order on steam even though it is actually already paid for? I’d really like a big manual e-book. EDIT: apparently the gog version has all kinds of stuff but not a manual?
The GOG versions of The Witcher games have all sorts of extras, including manuals.
GOG ‘s even offering “loyalty” discounts for owning The Witcher and The Witcher 2 through them.
(I had bought The Witcher on disc from another retailer, but GOG allowed me to enter that version’s CD key and now I own the GOG version, too. That means both access to all GOG’s extras — there’s a ton of them — and the loyalty discount for that version.)
CDProjekt/GOG are the most PC-gamer-friendly people around. Period.
I never buy games until the deep discounts hit — and I’ll buy from whomever offers the best price — but I bought The Witcher 2 through GOG to reward them for their loyalty to us, and I’ll wait for GOG’s sales on a game if at all possible.
If I got witcher 1 from steam I can use it’s serial key? Not so with witcher 2 on xbox? And yes they sure are great.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. They need to work on the animations. It looks a bit stiff like how it was in Witcher 2.
Might just be the lack of motion capture for the cinematic parts. I know their budget is well below that of most North American Dev Studios’ games. I guess that may be one of the ways they keep it down and can afford to function without a big time publisher calling the shots in return for more money?
Agreed! not just that but the facial animations and player model effects like subsurface scattering
Yeah it’s not smooth like the batman games but it isn’t a button smashing game either. Witcher 2 was fine in this aspect and I didn’t notice anything wrong in the video. I was busy enjoying the otherwise stunning graphics and features. Remember that it’s also 8 months before release.
did you even play witcher 2? the animations are leaps and bounds better in tw3, wtf are you smoking?
i don’t think they fix that, it’s good really good but it will have clipping issue like W2 or most of eastern europe games
Thank You .
What a freaky looking kid, lol. Seems like ubersampling is back, FTW!
Marvelous. Btw, guys, do you pre-ordering now or waiting Enhanced edition?
the game is not coming out for older consoles so talking about an enhanced edition is kinda pointless. There is nothing to upgrade.
if i remember EE didn’t upgrade much, their most important feature were extra missions (like the “lesbian” woman in TW2)
If I’m not mistaken, EE’s aren’t exactly just upgrades but fixes as well. I remember that EE’s were like DLC’s and combat fixes/enchancement for free
i don’t exactly remember but weren’t EE patches free? if you have the
original game that is. so…unless there are other bonuses with it when
it comes.
Mighty impressive looking game….the bars are set high and most likely the result will set them even higher!
It’s X1 version you guys… imagine the PC version you guys!!! JUST IMAGINE YOU GUYS!!!
