John GodGames Emus has shared a video, showcasing Oceanhorn: Monster of Uncharted Seas running on the Playstation 4 emulator, fpPS4, at acceptable framerates. This is the first 3D game that this PS4 emulator can run at acceptable framerates.
Now as you will see, emulation is not perfect yet. There are currently a lot of graphical glitches and bugs, meaning that the game is not fully playable. And even though this is a somehow simple 3D game, it’s a huge step for this open-source emulator.
Those interested can download the latest version of fpPS4 from here. As we’ve already reported, though, you should temper your expectations. Yes, the emulator can run various simple 2D games. However, it’s nowhere close to emulating any of the triple-A PS4 exclusives. Thus, you won’t be able to play games like Ghost of Tsushima, Shadow of the Colossus or Bloodborne.
Enjoy and stay tuned for more!

I love semi-playable; in fact all my favourite AAA games keep launching in a semi-playable state.
lol good one, it’s funny (and sad) because it’s true
It truly is sad because some eventually get fixed in a matter of weeks. In fact I’d rather get a delayed version than a broken one.
I still remember quite well how Rockstar delayed Max Payne 3 right at the end by two weeks soley for the PC version. I was super disappointed. Being a PC gamer and a big fan of Max Payne. But in the end it was all worth it: the PC version was and still is excellent to this day.
Indeed. I played through MP3 on PS3 first then on PC. The PS3 version ran like doody in several gunfights while the PC version was smooth as butter maxed out even on a mid-range system. But with how awful the GTA “remakes” were, I don’t have much faith in them doing a good job with the Max Payne remake.
You should wait a couple years so they can
mod it to workfinish the development.Bloodborne 4k 60 fps emulation when?

Acceptable FPS….yeah right. 18fps is not acceptable! Gee…they haven’t even managed to run RPCS3 stable in all Games, yet they try to develop a PS4-Emulator?! ?
I said this once and I’ll say it again… Why in the fockin’ell do you think the same person make all emulators? What the devs from this one have to do with devs from other projects? Are you fockin dumb? This last question was rethorical.
Btw, acceptable is different from ideal. Wasn’t you so dumb, you would know.
Who in frikkin’ Gods Name said that i said every Emulator comes from one Person only?! How about you grow up and start thinking before posting you dumb POS!
“iT WaS RHetORiCaL…”
Yeah great, shove it up your A-$-S!
And wtf… 18fps isn’t even acceptable nor ideal! It’s unacceptable!
Ideal would be at least 30fps, better 60. But not 18! Are you frikkin kidding me?!
I’m sure this one will take less time to be playable, since the architecture is not that monster of Jaguar, like the PS3.
