New Shadow of the Tomb Raider gameplay trailer showcases deadly tombs

Square Enix has released yet another short gameplay trailer for Shadow of the Tomb Raider, showcasing some deadly tombs. According to its description, the game will feature deadly traps and brutal puzzles that Lara must persevere through her darkest hour.

In Shadow of the Tomb Raider, Lara must master a deadly jungle, overcome terrifying tombs, and persevere through her darkest hour. As she races to save the world from a Maya apocalypse, Lara will forge herself into the Tomb Raider she is destined to be.

The game will last around 13-15 hours (without the side missions) and the hunting and the equipment will be more important this time around. The main tombs will be very important, will be “more classic,” and will be deadlier than before. Players will be able to swim and dive, and will be also able to use their rope to go up and down walls, run through them, and perform longer jumps.

Shadow of the Tomb Raider will release on September 14th.

Enjoy!

  1. Tombs, proper swimming and diving in a tomb Raider game, who’d of thought of these innovative features in a Tomb Raider game.

    1. Man i am just glad that eventually its getting there, its not like there are any spiritual successors to the old tomb raider games…which is a really big question on why thats not the case.

    1. Playing a —>Tomb<—Raider game and not wanting tombs that makes no sense, just play other games then

      1. You cant see where the traps are located if you see a death scene mate. Zoom in and all of that that modern games do.
