YouTube’s ‘Flurdeh’ released a new video, showcasing what Mass Effect could have looked like with an isometric camera viewpoint. In order to create this video, Flurdeh used Tilt Shift to turn Mass Effect’s citadel, Omega and other locations into miniature worlds.
Do note that this elevated camera viewpoint can give you an idea of what the game would look like as an isometric game. It does not show how it will play as an isometric game. So keep that in mind while watching the video. It’s a concept video, and not a mod that can turn the game into an isometric title.
For some reason, this video reminded me of Septerra Core. Septerra Core was an isometric turn-based RPG that came out in 1999. So yeah, that’s kind of neat.
Flurdeh has shared isometric videos for Red Dead Redemption 2, Skyrim, Fallout New Vegas, and Cyberpunk 2077. You can also find similar videos for Dark Souls, Dead Space Remake, Grand Theft Auto 5, Elden Ring and Final Fantasy 7 Remake. All of them look lovely, so be sure to watch them.
Enjoy!

Ok, now you’re just trolling. If not here is some data for you.
The viewpoint does not make the projection isometric.
The the projection transformation matrix does.

You know how it is. Making obvious errors, so people comment and drive up the engagement seem to be infecting these articles more and more.
And then 3 comments down the comments turn into Russians did this and Ukraine this. Then in no time racial slurs and Communist this & that. Stir The Pot should be the name of this site.
Like I’ve said before the Dark Side of Gaming are these message boards …..
He is honestly retarded. Has not learned anything from the Dead space article. He has an extra chromosome which translates fixed camera to isometric, by the looks of it.
Andromeda was the best even though it was self sabotaged by……. Anyway… I will always love it….
I liked Andromeda too, maybe not the story or characters (a strong point in others ME), but the gameplay was great. The skill system is more in tone with the first game, the exploration is way better and the jetpack added a nice layer to movement and combat.
Well, I guess I have to give Andromeda a fair shot now
They were hysterical…. Anyway best game EVER..
It would look better without the poor Depth of Field effect, it just doesn’t work in isometric view ….. Never could understand spending $100’s of dollar for a high resolution graphics card and then blur out over half the screen and at the same time lose system performance in the process

Good f*king lord, have you not learned from your dead space article?
This is FIXED CAMERA, for Hitler’s sake.
