Bioware has released an official comparison video between the original and the remastered version of Mass Effect. This video will give you an idea of the enhancements that the team has implemented in the first ME game.
As we can see, Mass Effect Remastered will have a new UI that is similar to the one found in Mass Effect 2 and Mass Effect 3. Moreover, it packs new lighting effects and new assets. The camera also appears to be closer to the character (so here is hoping that there will be a FOV slider).
Mass Effect Legendary Edition will have improved aiming and weapons balance. Additionally, the game will have better SFX, better Mako controls, input/controls, squad behavior, cover behavior and gameplay cameras.
It’s also worth noting that this trilogy will have some PC-specific improvements. This remastered trilogy will offer a modernized PC experience across all three games with native controller and 21:9 widescreen support. Furthermore, there will be user interface navigation improvements, and DirectX 11 compatibility.

I don’t think “Bioware” is fully capable of doing a remake. I reckon this is the best they can possibly offer, which is very little imho.

I loved the original Mafia, but I only played half of the remake. Got bored after the race. They changed too much and completely lost the tone and charm of the original imo. I just didn’t care about the characters at all. The character models and voice actors were horribly miss cast and it looked more like a crappy TV show, where the original felt like The Godfather.

It’s difficult to tell if this modification fits with their original vision back them. They planned to make Jack pans#xual but the higher ups intervened. I am just completing a trilogy run. Mass effect 1 is by far the worst mass effect game imo. Improved graphics won’t do anything for it. 2 and 3 still hold up incredibly well and are great games. I really don’t see any reason to play the legendary edition. Maybe pick it up for $10 in a few years. Can’t say I want to replay the games anytime soon
