Boundary is a game I’m really looking forward to. This tactical sci-fi multiplayer shooter reminds me of Futuremark’s Shattered Horizon; a PC exclusive that was way ahead of its time. Unfortunately, Shattered Horizon did not meet commercial success, but you can clearly see the similarities between them.
But anyway, YouTube’s Punish has shared a video showing five minutes of gameplay footage from its Gamescom 2019 demo. This video will give you a small idea of what you can expect from this “multiplayer first-person shooter in space“.
Boundary will put players in the role of a heavily armed astronauts in space engaging in fierce zero gravity firefights. The game will feature fully customizable loadouts, weapons and ammo types. Furthermore, there will be 6 classes of Astronaut for players to choose from in multiple game modes.
The modes that will be available at launch are: Free For All, Team Deathmatch, Facility Capture, and Orbital Purge modes. In case you’re wondering, Facility Capture and Orbital Purge will be based around Domination and Elimination gameplay.
Huyagives will release Boundary on the PC in Q1 2020, alongside its PS4 version.
